Also in the beginning, when the mob guy threats to take from House everything he loves most, was I the only one to think in Wilson and Vicodin?
You weren't the only one, I thought that too. I mean what else does House love as much as Wilson and Vicodin? I guess his puzzles but they would be a little hard for the mob to take away.
Wilson was who I thought of. That's a good question. Fact is, I can't think of anything tangible. Maybe his mom?

Here's another screencap of love.
No platonic friends look at eachother like that
Wilson always seems so nonplussed when House breaches his personal space

Yay for all the screencaps. :D
I think Wilson is used to House being practically on top of him.
(OK, NO. NOT going there. Not going there.)

He's used to it by now  It's usually House breaching Wilson's personal space than the other way around. Wilsie seems to like to keep his distance, I wonder why...
speaking of screencaps of love

House seems to like leaning on Wilson, doesn't he?
(OK, not going THERE either. Wow, did I take a Hoyay pill or something that's making me say all this?:D)
Thaks for the screencaps, Geege!
LightMyCandle- 10-16-2007
So much love for the screencaps. I love that those two have no personal space when it comes to each other especially since Wilson seems like such a physically gaurded person and House...well there's Cuddy but he's generally pretty uncomfortable when, oh let's say Cam is up in his space.
Seriously, I wonder how the standing/being so close together things started. Was is intentional or just the natural chemistry between HL and RSL. If you'ver ever listened to the commentary for Meet the Parents, the director says that he tried to block Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson far apart but they just have a natural tendency to stand close together. Same thing happening here?

I don't know, or care if i's on purpose. The point is HL and RSL do it. :D
(OK, I seroiusly have a problem. :D)

Considering that the very first thing we see of them in the series is their hands almost touching while walking down the hall, it might have been a natural thing a reflection of their chemistry, hell, for all I know it might even been a conscious decision of the tptb.

Sweetie, if one must have a problem, aren't you glad it's this one?

I didn't say it was a BAD problem! :D

It's the best problem ever. :P
Hail the Random- 10-16-2007
In, fact, I'm going to go fuel my problem with fanfic and screencaps. :)
Poeia- 10-16-2007
It was probably a blocking question. The closer they are, the closer the camera can get and still have them both fit on the TV screen. But who cares why they did it -- it works.

(staggers into thread) Geez, I go on vacation and miss an orgy!
Upon rewatch of The Scene (the ep reaired on Newfie TV tonight) I came up with a different spin on it. I knew a little girl, manipulative little four-year-old, who when she was in trouble with her father would turn a big-eyed look on and say "I love you, daddy". This made me think of that. House isn't a child (get that through your heads, fanfic writers!) but he does act like one sometimes. Wilson's really upset with me, better soften him up... "I love you, daddy".

That's kind of adorable.
