I'm not sure House could answer a question like that without making a joke out of it... He really shouldn't reply verbally

He really shouldn't reply verbally  That would rock so hard. WILSON: What do you want from me? HOUSE grabs WILSON's butt and pulls him so that their faces are inches apart. HOUSE: What do you think?

Don't stop there, SaphronGirl!!!

The casual sex House referred to in Who's Your Daddy? was when he was 20 years old. While not being depressed would probably make him more receptive to a possible relationship (be it short-term with Honey or long-term with a six foot tall oncologist), it is not going to turn his attitudes regarding sex back into those of a 20-year-old.

Okay! WILSON: (whispering) What the hell are you doing? Everyone's watching! HOUSE: Let them. (Louder) You guys don't mind if I grab Wilson's ass, right? HOSPITAL STAFF looks nervous, murmurs. HOUSE: See? They don't care. I can grab your ass all I want. It's a free-for-all. (HOUSE squeezes harder) WILSON: Now I know how Cuddy must feel. HOUSE: (leaning in closer, lips almost touching WILSON's) Soft and round, actually. WILSON: I like soft. HOUSE and WILSON kiss.

I can see House just dismissing this ("I don't want you stuck on my couch for weeks ."). And then what would be great is having Wilson call him on lying, or at least telling a half truth. Like Cuddy said, either House is concerned about Wilson's wellbeing (which is true) or he wants Wilson for himself (also true). I can see this playing out in my mind (hit 'rewind', play it again.... repeat). It would be so great for Wilson to bring up the ILU sometime in the future (after seeing him mull it over for a few episodes, ya know, the pensive appreciative stare at a departing House). House makes a joke like the aforementioned one above, and Wilson says "Do you even believe that?" House hangs his head and utters a barely-audible "No", then glances up at Wilson, who says....................................................... "House, you need to talk about this" thereby ruining the mood with his psycho-babble emo shit, like he has done so many times in the past few decades. Get with the program, Wilson, and just kiss him, already!!

I was thinking of this great scene in Gilmore Girls when Lorelai is unreasonably upset at the fact that Luke moved and then Luke gets upset and asks why she cares and Lorelai says because she doesn't want him to move and Luke asks her why and she doesn't answer and then I think they're interrupted. I think something like that would be very realistic for House and Wilson, just ambiguous enough to keep everyone on their toes. The kissing and the sex could come later.

Saphron... I just melted :urock:

Hail the Random- 10-15-2007

Hee, Saphron!

Tenna- 10-15-2007

*drool* Thank you, Saphron.

I can actually see that happening, but without House asking the lobby. Just ignoring them. Whee!*pats brain*

Get with the program, Wilson, and just kiss him, already!! Word. Unfortunately, you're right about Wilson going off on his pseudo-shrink tangent, again. It'd be great if he'd stop do thing that. If he's going to keep doing that, House should at least get to psycho-babble about why Wilson's still in a hotel (or at least rag on him til he leaves).

Lorelai is unreasonably upset at the fact that Luke moved and then Luke gets upset and asks why she cares and Lorelai says because she doesn't want him to move and Luke asks her why and she doesn't answer and then I think they're interrupted. Wouldn't be perfect if this had happened in HvsG? Oh, the opportunities they miss! you're right about Wilson going off on his pseudo-shrink tangent, again. It'd be great if he'd stop do thing that. And we are so much more annoyed by this than House himself. I wonder why... Maybe because House sees the psycho-babble as a proof that Wilson cares about him (as there aren't enough proofs already...). About the hotel thing, House does rag him about it. Every time they fight he throws two things in his face: Grace and the hotel situation. Maybe he didn't do it this season yet, but we are just in the beginning.
