I don't know what to think. They are aware of this ship's support, that much is certain. I don't know about the rest. TPTB work in mysterious ways. I wish I knew they had the balls to do it. And I have a lovely metaphor (get used to it  ) to my feelings towards Cuddy and Huddy. Cuddy was blocking House's way to Wilson's office --------> Cuddy is blocking the way to H/W. I LOLed so hard when he shouted "WILSON!!" and she jumped  And Wilson's "good times". SO precious    :w00t: ETA:: Tenna, from your keyboard to DS and KJ wet dreams.

Manic Black- 10-10-2007

I just hope this doesn't mean that the next one to get an 'I love you' is Cuddy.

From the new RSL interview: (link in spoilers thread though I'm not sure how spoilery it is. This bit isn't.) Interviewer guy: OK, and I’m just wondering, because the relationship between Wilson and House, it’s very strange. It’s very convoluted and complex. And some people just wonder, why is your character still friends with this guy after everything he goes through? And as an actor like, how do you approach that and rationalize that this character would continue to be friends with House? RSL: I think Wilson puts up with House for the same reason that millions of people watch him every week. I think he’s really dynamic and fun and audacious and self-deprecating. All those things that I think make people really appealing, and he tells it like it is. The money things, he does'nt tend to pay you back, but I have a lot of friends like that. So I don’t find it that much of a mystery. I think House is a very attractive character. I think most people would want to be friends with him. I love it how every one use the word strange to describe their relationship. It's like a euphemism for gay. -I couldn't help but notice how GAY the House and Wilson relationship is. - Well, House is a very attractive character...

Is it wrong to now expect that House and Wilson will kiss/have sex next season? That certainly is a logical conclusion to draw. :P Cuddy was blocking House's way to Wilson's office --------> Cuddy is blocking the way to H/W. But House wouldn't let her. he got to Wilson anyway. No low-cut blouse can stop their love. And Wilson's "good times". SO precious I swear, RSL has absolutely perfect delivery.

AlissaM- 10-10-2007

Delurking to squee! That was amazing. There is no way that delivery could be interpreted as a joke. Especially since the joke would have been completed by a Wilson eyeroll or some other indicator that it wasn't to be taken seriously. But that was not the look Wilson gave at all. I hope TPTB aren't just throwing us a bone, but I'm preparing myself if that's the case.

I say "little" because for me the big win, when we will know that we win the War is this moment that Wilson will move back to House home to live they together for ever.

shemett- 10-10-2007

Haven't seen the episode yet which starts in 9 minutes on the west coast but I read all the squeeing going on over at H/W LJ. I mentioned there that there was a scene in Son of Coma Guy where vegetative state guy asked House is he had ever loved anyone else. Well I gues now we know who it is, Wilson and that it was his first and most enduring love. Ups, i was said that then, remember?;)

galaxygirl- 10-10-2007

I noticed something last night: In season one, House tells Stacy he loves her and in Season two, they've slept together. In season two, House tells Cameron he loves her (even though he doesn't mean it) and in season three, they kiss. Is it wrong to now expect that House and Wilson will kiss/have sex next season? Not at all, it's a logical conclusion to come to. I can live with that. But House wouldn't let her. he got to Wilson anyway. No low-cut blouse can stop their love. I know, isn't it sweet. Cuddy tried, but she couldn't stop him from getting to Wilson I swear, RSL has absolutely perfect delivery. He sure does. I'm also overjoyed by the amount of casual!Wilson we've gotten so far this season. Welcome Tenna and AlissaM

Okay, I thought I'd pitch in on how I felt about the ILU scene. 1.) It was great to hear House say it because Wilson deserves it, regardless of if it was meant platonically or romantically. Things have been falling apart for both of them lately. 2.) I think House was sincere and not just talking about the pain meds. If he meant to be sarcastic or supercifical, his tone would have been very different. 3.) HOWEVER, I don't think Wilson took it that way. I just rewatched the scene for his reaction and he isn't looking up at House when it's said. He can't see how sincere House's expression is. It looks as if he blows the comment off as in regards to the pain meds. OR He could have been so stunned that he put off as a glib joke the reflect over later when he wasn't running on adrenaline and panic. Wilson was good tonight. They showed that he was a good doctor, and it's been a long time since they've done that. He was interacting with patients, he took over diagnostics, and when House told him to do something in regards to the patient, it had already been done. Thank you, TPTB, for showing Wilson actually has a job. It justifies their friendship instead of making Wilson his conscience.

OMG OMG OMG he actually said it o.0 My head's still spinning! I can die happy now, haha!!!! ...Now, to the part where I ruin my own fun because I always have to explain and analyze everything... ;) First issue being Wilson's lack of reaction. Well, maybe it's just me, but I think his lack of any more dramatic reaction to the words, was partly because it wasn't such a shock for him to hear it! I mean, of course they love each other, romantically or not, we know it, and I'm sure Wilson knew House loved him, too. And Wilson's lift-of-eyebrow as House says he loves him looks like he's like "yeah well, you got a funny way of showing it" don't you think? He was probably still relieved that he woke up, too. As for the reason House said it, I'm fairly sure the reason he said it at that precise moment was in respons to Wilson getting him more pain meds (the look in his eyes tells me it's not a dead serious declaration of love), BUT even though it was sort of "more drugs, I love you", I still think he really MEANT it, too. Like, haven't you ever been afraid to be rejected or not taken seriously (not just in love, I mean in general) and therefore suggested something like it was a joke? While really, you meant what you said? I think that had it JUST been a joke, no feeling behind it at all, Wilson would've played along in some way. That he didn't tells me that there is a certain degree of seriousness behind the words, but they don't want to go there, or screw up, or some reason like that. (OR, but this slightly defies some of my reasoning above; Wilson was just uncertain whether House was serious at all, and didn't want to make a fool of himself, I mean let's face it, if he'd seriously acknowledged it, House probably would've mocked him about it. Wilson loves House without doubt, so I don't have to justify anything there.) Hmm perhaps I've thought about this too much.. and perhaps I'm all wrong, but that's how I see it anyway. Jokingly and in response to the increased pain meds, sure, but ONLY that? No way. There are soo many other things the writers could've let him say if they'd just wanted a sarcastic Houseism or something! And since the writers ARE aware of the slash fan base, I don't think they would just thoughtlessly put a suggesting line like that with no thought, no meaning, behind it. Am I making any sense at all? Because I'm only emptying my head from thoughts. Noone here (here as in at my home, my family) cares about H/W and I need to vent.. maybe I should leave Chase a message  Oh and did anyone think of Wilson's "just looking at you hurts"? just before the upping-of-pain-meds-line? I don't know about you, but I think of that like Wilson got scared by what House did, and thinking about it hurts him.. or something along those lines.. (yeah I know I suck at explaining emotional stuff, but whatever, I think you get my point... if not, just always assume I'm arguing FOR the H/W pairing.. ;)) Oh right, also, House said something like he didn't call Wilson because he'd "never hear the end of it"; sure that's true, Wilson would've been pissed that House would scare him like that and House WOULD've gotten his fair share of lectures about that I'm sure, but - leading us to my point - I think the real reason was that House didn't want to scare him (Wilson) by letting Wilson watch him "nearly die". Aaand I think that's all for now ^___^ awfully long post, wonder if anyone bothered actually reading it? :'D not blaming you if you didn't haha!

galaxygirl- 10-10-2007

And Wilson's lift-of-eyebrow as House says he loves him looks like he's like "yeah well, you got a funny way of showing it" don't you think? I definitely think that Wilson is thinking at that moment that House has a weird way of showing him that he loves him, hence that reaction. The more I see that scene, the more I think that that's behind his almost no reaction to it. Anyone noticed the music under this scene, doesn't help the 'it's a joke' case imo.

radiosweetheart- 10-10-2007

No need to worry about not making much sense Lulu. It's the immediate reaction we all had, I think. Heck, I'm still having it. I agree with you about the immediate reason and the real reason. Now I'm thinking about that Tenacious D "Friendship Test" skit. Good times. (A phrase that is one of my favorites in the English language, so I loved hearing Wilson say it. I would like it as my ringtone. Oooh! Even better the "I love you" followed by "Good times." Where's hithah? I have a request.)

Lulu- 10-10-2007

The more I see that scene, the more I think that that's behind his almost no reaction to it. Yup, same here. (And I agree about the music point, too.)

jonne- 10-10-2007

Sure, I read it Lulu, and agree with most of it. Just a few of my thought on THE scene. When I saw House saying the famous words, the first thing I thought was that he looked relieved. Of course that could mean relieved that he would get more painkillers, but also relieved that he'd finally said the words. Personally I'm more convinced of the first option, but I could understand it if someone here saw it the other way  I thought it was a shame we didn't see Houses reaction to Wilson telling him about the hurting, that would have told us something as well. All in all, a touching scene, even to a non-shipper like me, because of the sincerity of the emotions. TPTB must be laughing their a$$es of right now.

LightMyCandle- 10-10-2007

And since the writers ARE aware of the slash fan base, I don't think they would just thoughtlessly put a suggesting line like that with no thought, no meaning, behind it. I agree, they like to jerk us all around a lot but I really don't believe that they would throw a line like that in there for no other reason than as a joke. It's certainly one of the reasons but based on the tone, the pause etc. it definately had a deeper meaning than that. Oh and did anyone think of Wilson's "just looking at you hurts"? just before the upping-of-pain-meds-line? I don't know about you, but I think of that like Wilson got scared by what House did, and thinking about it hurts him I agree again. I have no doubt that House scared the crap out of Wilson. I think he was still scared during that scene, like House had just woken up and Wilson was relieved but a scare like that just doesn't go away immediately, it takes a while to shake off.
