I Love You: House/Wilson

I can't even read H/W pr0n :P Oh Jouse, how terrible! :shock: I think you know of my conviction they've been at it for years (at least, I've said it enough times :P ) Do I get depressed that this might never be shown in canon? No; mainly because I'm not really the depressive type, also because fic fills the gaps very nicely. What I *do* fear is an alternative ship becoming really solid canon. Either H or W 'ending up' with someone (Cuddy, Cameron, whoever) at the end of the last series, whenever that is. The only ending that would really make me happy (assuming H/W is off the menu) is H & W walking off into the hospital corridor distance, just like they started it all off in the Pilot. Which would leave me room to stand by my conviction forever more.

I started to write my answer and then I read Shipper's post... Word, ditto, ITA! Everything she (are you a she Shipper?) said, I couldn't have said better. I don't need passioned kisses and hot sex (but I would like it very much, thank you...). I just need then walking together, see them at House's place, smiling at each other and most important no one else betweem them. No het pair! I still don't think that this idea is so absurd to become canon. And yes, I'm cynical but also optimistic, go figure! I can't even read H/W pr0n Maybe because lately there's a lack of good porn... Shipper could help us in that front :wink: ETA: they changed the P word... How cute!

I especially agree with the part quoted above.. :? - Speaking of House and Wilson, I just watched Euphoria (1).. ok, I know House is upset/worried about Foreman, and Wilson obviously knew that too, but it's still pretty mean to go "boy, I wish I had your job" .. :(

Do you ever get depressed, feeling H/W will never be canon? NO. Because House/Wilson IS CANON. We just haven't seen it in all it's *ahem* glory. They've known each other for over twenty years (HT); Wilson was spending all his time with House to avoid his crappy marriages (FFL); They watch the L-Word on mute (Forever); House asked Wilson on a booty call date at 2 in the morning (Family); House sent him flowers and SAID he sent them to Wilson BECAUSE he took Cuddy to play (AYA); and there's that closing scene in S2 Safe that just boggles my mind. Where did Wilson sleep that night? And more importantly, there's that ad in 17 mag with House and Wilson wearing matching EVERYBODY LIES t-shirts. I'm just waiting for a scene of them in bed or House in the shower and Wilson brushing his teeth followed by a full lip smooch a la Brothers & Sisters' Kevin and Jason.

And more importantly, there's that ad in 17 mag with House and Wilson wearing matching EVERYBODY LIES t-shirts. That was seriously AWESOME! There has to be some reason they chose RSL to do that and not LE, JM, or OW.

I'm thinking they're trying to tell us something about their relationship. The TPTB definitely gave us a clue about House's expansive sexuality - is expansive the right word? during the Huddy conversation in Lines in the Sand. House said something to the effect I don't care that Sally married Johnny - he's mine.

Jouse, one of my rules of life (not just the part spent talking to people in or watching people on boxes) is to expect the absolute worst at all times. That way, when something slightly less than disastrous happens it's a pleasant surprise. I'm the same way. Imagine the worst, then it can only get better.
