Whoever Julie was....I want her to have rocked his socks off.
Just because I'm sort of in love with him.
(Don't tell Mr. C. Except he has a thing for Angelina Jolie so he has no right to talk.)

We're straying dangerously on the "off topic" line right now, but it still seems to work.
I've imagined the Wilson's Wives Club as something more of little girls grown up who liked to play Barbie and House (not MD, but you know). Only, Wilson is their Ken doll, and House (MD this time) is their brother coming into their room with his GI Joe and harassing her. Of course Ken is going to think GI Joe is cooler than planning the pool party with Barbie - how many men are really going to be there to hang with anyway? So, Ken goes off with GI Joe, leaving Barbie to do the work herself.
ETA - "Wilson in their Ken doll" is a definite Freudian slip. Changed the letters.

Poconos quote got 3rd place in the Tubeys! Woo!

I thought this would be appropriate:
House pulled away just far enough to speak. "Oh, James," he muttered dryly. The name sounded so ridiculous coming from House that Wilson laughed out loud.
House sucked Wilson's lower lip for a moment before adding, "All your wives called you that, huh?"
"Yes, they did," Wilson agreed, trying not to sound as breathless as he felt.
House slid a hand up from Wilson's neck and tangled it possessively in his hair, holding him still. "Wilson," he said quietly.
*sighs dreamily* Every time I read A modest proposal I love it even more.

I don't know why you thought it'd be appropriate... But it is! :D
Oh, the images...
* goes off to read it again, too *

Yay! Now we're reading it together
We talked about Julie and Bonnie vs. House
Lully- 09-14-2007
Julie and Bonnie never had a chance against House, poor girls
But sometimes I wonder about the wife #1. Did House meet her?
Jouse- 09-14-2007
Wilson must have been very young when he first got married. I'm dying to know if he met House when he was single, engaged or already married.
Hopefully, S4 will come through (yeah, right :? ).

I would guess he was already married when he met House - and stayed married out of some sort of sense of commitment but really, deep down, wanted to leave his wife immediately and be with House... (my imagination is running wild here).
Although that doesn't really explain why he kept getting married. Hm.

He just needs to stop denying his true feelings. Poor Wilson, so in denial. :(

I love your imagination, Hibernia *runs wild along with it*
Well, in the "they haven't done it yet" fanon, we can assume Wilson never told House how he feels, or even acknowledged it himslef. He kept House close to him, but never crossed the line from friends to more than friends.

Thanks Jouse! And reading this, it suddenly makes sense (lets imagination run some more): he won't cross that line, because he's afraid that if he does, House will not feel the same way about him (Wilson's insecure that way), and he rather keeps on hoping that one day everything will be fine just like that or that House makes the first move, than try something and get hurt or disappointed! So now the only question left is: how will this ever be right?
Jouse- 09-14-2007
Exactly.
And to answer your question: Alcohol.

Am I the only one hoping that we will never see Julie, kinda like Maris only more boring because nothing will live up to the greatness that was Maris Crane.
I wouldn't want to try and imagine the actress who would even attempt to play Maris. Seriously.
They were originally planning on showing her at one point, but since the descriptions on her looks had gotten so outrageous, there was no way they could find anyone to play her lol.
Just to show that I can fanwank the hell out of anything: Niles Crane's second wife Mel was played by Jane Adams, who also played Bonnie, Wilson's second wife. As we all know Niles had quite the crush on Daphne during the time he was dating Mel(well ever since the start of the show but that's not the point), and we all think that Wilson...well, fill that one in by yourself

Yep, I'd guess that too. Remember Spin? His wife was fine, but he met someone...
I'm in the camp that believes that they actually did it already - maybe it's a lonely camp, but I like being here :D My reasons to believe in that are simple: Wilson uses sex as a form of comfort. Grace was lonely, her ride didn't show up, she didn't have food at home... To me this scenario must be quite similar to the one with House, after the infarction and Stacy departure. Wilson had "to pick up the pieces", gave some comfort, bought some food and the sex must have happened at some point. They could be drunk or lonely or just horny. After it happened they didn't talk about it and kept pretending that nothing happened. Of course I also I think it continued to happen once in a while, like at the end of DIYD or during the odd couple arc.
And just because I think about it a lot... My bet would be that Wilson jumped House. That's why House was so surprised when Bonnie told him that she jumped Wilson...
Now you can just tell me that I'm crazy...
