Nice, WillowFae! (Which episode is the shoes reference from?)

sautomne- 08-29-2007

Fidelity. Flirtiest exchange ever.

Hail the Random- 08-29-2007

Thanks, Sauty.

a bastard in the sense that he leaves women when they don't need him any more. It's all about the needing to be needed. I just made a comment about this in the Wilson's thread. Did Bonnie seem "not-needy"? She was even more needy when Wilson first met her? I do agree that's the need to be need that attracts Wilson, but I also think that he leaves for other reasons.

So I'm not sure if I'm allowed to directly post a picture on here. I'll link to it just in case. Anyway I made this motivator for the 'Boards that shall not be named' and I thoguht you'd all appreciate it. http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb180/LadyTaevyn/Shoes2.jpg I hope this works. That picture is priceless! Are there any more?

Fidelity. Flirtiest exchange ever. Oh, yes, lotsa hoyay here: House: Foreman got the gang testing for Tularemia? Wilson: Yep. House: Probably inconclusive, but worth doing. So what's her name? When do I get to meet her? Wilson: There's nobody. Give it up. House: Your lips say no, your shoes say yes. Wilson: Well they're French. You can't trust a word they say House: Solid, yet stylish. A professional woman would be impressed. I'm thinking accountant, actuary, maybe. It's somebody in the hospital. Patient? No, chemo's not sexy. Daughter of the patient? She would certainly have the neediness you need. Wilson: I'm not gonna date a patient's daughter. House: Very ethical. Of course, most married men would say they don't date at all. Wilson: There was no date! I had lunch with one of the nurses. It's her first time in an oncology unit and she's having a tough time, emotionally. House: Perfect. Wilson: I wanted to be nice. That's all. I mean it. House: You always do. It's part of your charm. from the same epsidode: Wilson: Look I'm not having an affair. I had lunch, with someone I work with, at work. Once. House: I believe you. What I don't believe is that it'll be just once. Wilson: I love my wife. House: You certainly love saying it. I'm sorry. I know you love your wife. You loved all your wives. Probably still do. In fact, you probably still love all the women you ever loved who weren't your wives. Wilson: You can be a real jerk sometimes, you know that? House: Yeah. And you're the good guy. Wilson: At least I try. House: As long as you're trying to be good, you can do whatever you want. Wilson: And as long as you're not trying, you can say whatever you want. House: So between us, we can do anything. We can rule the world!

Hee, I love that exchange. I've not got anymore at the moment. But I'm sure the Muse will strike properly. I'm in the middle of a RENT fic and a 24 fic and a Dr Who fic. Damn there are times I wished I had Multiple Personalities.

I had to open a test account today at work, so I can try things and familiar myself with the system. I called my client House Wilson. Now the whole company can see it and it's implanted in their brains  It really should be the 25th already :?

Hail the Random- 09-05-2007

Hee, Jouse! How long do you think it'll take them to figure out what you're talking about?

Jouse- 09-06-2007

Oh, I've explained it in detail. I'm not ashamed of my ship ;) I wonder if I can press charges if they'll fire me for it :|

Lully- 09-09-2007

As I said before I always connect every little detail that happens in an episode with H/W :o During season 3 I notice that the PotW story frequently can be seen as metaphor for their relationship (W&D, Insensitive, among others). So I've been thinking about AYA... Could the "triangle" between Chase/Cameron/the little boy be related with H/W/Cuddy? I think it could and I'd like to know what you guys think about it. Someone want to play?

LightMyCandle- 09-09-2007

Well, I would go straight to 'House is the little boy' but let's be honest, Cameron was obviously not serious about him (like that even needed to be said) and if Huddy is in fact happening that kind of puts a damper on the comparison. OTOH, Wilson could be the little boy that Cuddy was just using to get House jealous, but I tend to doubt that, I don't think that's what Cuddy was doing. My personal favorite is that Cuddy's the little boy that Wilson's using to make House jealous  . I guess it does mirror it in some ways but it's not a perfect match any way you slice it. (W&D, Insensitive, among others). Okay, I got W&D and possibly Resignation but could someone refresh my memory on Insensitive? All I remember is the girl jumping off the railing and that she couldn't feel pain. All that tranny, Valentines breakfast talk was distracting me.

Jouse- 09-09-2007

I remember thinking her (Insensitive POTW) condition correlates with House's long-suffering relationship with feeling and pain, both physical and emotional. Besides that, I draw a blank.

Hail the Random- 09-09-2007

I shall remember Insesnitive and 1) The best episode in a good long while and 2) The one where House actually listens to Wilson.

Taiga- 09-09-2007

The one where House actually listens to Wilson. Actually he does that surprisingly often; I say "surprisingly" because 99% of the time Wilson's advice is unsolicited. His usual MO is to mock Wilson's advice and then go follow it (or try to) once Wilson is gone. What I liked about 'Insensitive' was the way Wilson did it, asking House if he's the best judge for whether Hannah should have a spinal nerve biopsy and letting him think about it - trusting him to make the right decision - instead of getting hands on hips and bellowing "You're wrong, House! I can't let you do this!". For all that everyone hated OD,OR what stood out for me was that House sought out Wilson's advice. He then went to everyone else for advice when he didn't want to do what Wilson suggested, but in the end it was Wilson's advice that he followed. And in a break from format, it was Wilson's advice that worked.
