Did you notice that in the scene in the beginning of Humpty Dumpty, With House, Wilson and Cuddy, House is sucking on a lollipop while looking at Wilson? It really is them little things

RNwannabe- 08-29-2007

Yes, yes I had noticed that........But thanks so much for the link, Jouse!!!

Lully- 08-29-2007

I remember seeing a icon with that scene, but I couldn't remember the episode... So suggestive! By the way Jouse, your icon is lovely (but I agree with whom suggested that they should be closer...). Is it a manipulation or from a episode?

RNwannabe- 08-29-2007

Is it a manipulation or from a episode? If it is a manip, please someone, animate them together!!!!

Taiga- 08-29-2007

(stumbles into conversation late) In regards to who needs who the most, I think Wilson needs House's need for him. Which isn't exactly the same thing as needing HIM, though I know he loves the guy. we'll need St. Doris's episode after. Nnn. St. Doris also writes Wilson as a manipulative bastard. Maybe Wilson will pull another stunt to Teach House A Lesson or something :shudder:

Hail the Random- 08-29-2007

...I forgot about that. Erg.

LightMyCandle- 08-29-2007

St. Doris also writes Wilson as a manipulative bastard. Are you just referring to HvsG? Because I don't recall any other time where she's written him as manipulative. And I personally don't count HvsG because that had nothing to do with House, yeah he lied to House but it wasn't for "his own good" or any crap like that. She wrote SoaCG and House Training last year, right? Where was the manipulation in those eps?

Jouse- 08-29-2007

Hmm *rubs chin thoughtfully* I'm actually not sure, Lully. I've found the pic on my hard drive yesterday and it begged to be iconed. It could be from an eppy though. House, bless him, has boundary issues, and when he presses into Wilson's personal space, Wilson doesn't back away. I wonder why that is.. *drifts to joyful fanwanking* Anyway! They do tend to stand close, even when they face each other. And this is from the first episode! Which season do you think Wilson is in my icon? End of second maybe?

Lully- 08-29-2007

I think Wilson needs House's need for him. Which isn't exactly the same thing as needing HIM Interesting thought... So do you think that if House didn't exist in Wilson's life, he would find somebody else to fill out that role? St. Doris also writes Wilson as a manipulative bastard I didn't see Wilson being a manipulative bastard in any episode she wrote, not even HvsG. He was manipulating the patient, but not being a bastard. It was hard to tell if he was manipulating Grace or the other way around (I think nobody was manipulating nobody, but it's JMO). In SoaCG and HT I didn't notice any manipulation at all. Did I miss something? ETA: Jouse It seems to be from late season 2, maybe from the Odd Couple arc. But also remindes me a scene from Autopsy, when they are talking about Debbie in front of the elevators.

Interesting thought... So do you think that if House didn't exist in Wilson's life, he would find somebody else to fill out that role? This was exactly my point the other day...... Wilson's numerous liaisons indicate to me that Wilson can effectively replace people who fill niches in his life with other people who can do the same thing :)

This was exactly my point the other day...... RNwannabe wrote: Wilson's numerous liaisons indicate to me that Wilson can effectively replace people who fill niches in his life with other people who can do the same thing I didn't put House in that "numerous liaisons", sorry... I thought you're talking about his wives. Wilson seems so overwhelm with House that I find hard to imagine any other person in that role.

Jouse- 08-29-2007

Wilson seems so overwhelm with House that I find hard to imagine any other person in that role. ITA. While most, if not all people in Wilson's life are just filling niches, House is a whole different story. I think Wilson is fascinated by him, and drawn to him like a moth to a flame. ETA for better phrasing.

RNwannabe- 08-29-2007

Sociopath!Wilson can fill any niche he needs to....

Taiga- 08-29-2007

Well, a bastard in the sense that he leaves women when they don't need him any more. It's all about the needing to be needed. He wasn't overtly manipulative in SoaCG, though House did tell him not to "do his thing". So do you think that if House didn't exist in Wilson's life, he would find somebody else to fill out that role? Yeah, I do.

So I'm not sure if I'm allowed to directly post a picture on here. I'll link to it just in case. Anyway I made this motivator for the 'Boards that shall not be named' and I thoguht you'd all appreciate it. http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb180/LadyTaevyn/Shoes2.jpg I hope this works.
