we'll need St. Doris's episode after.Nnn. St. Doris also writes Wilson as a manipulative bastard. Maybe Wilson will pull another stunt to Teach House A Lesson or something :shudder:
St. Doris also writes Wilson as a manipulative bastard. Are you just referring to HvsG? Because I don't recall any other time where she's written him as manipulative. And I personally don't count HvsG because that had nothing to do with House, yeah he lied to House but it wasn't for "his own good" or any crap like that. She wrote SoaCG and House Training last year, right? Where was the manipulation in those eps?
I think Wilson needs House's need for him. Which isn't exactly the same thing as needing HIMInteresting thought... So do you think that if House didn't exist in Wilson's life, he would find somebody else to fill out that role?
St. Doris also writes Wilson as a manipulative bastardI didn't see Wilson being a manipulative bastard in any episode she wrote, not even HvsG. He was manipulating the patient, but not being a bastard. It was hard to tell if he was manipulating Grace or the other way around (I think nobody was manipulating nobody, but it's JMO). In SoaCG and HT I didn't notice any manipulation at all. Did I miss something? ETA: Jouse It seems to be from late season 2, maybe from the Odd Couple arc. But also remindes me a scene from Autopsy, when they are talking about Debbie in front of the elevators.
This was exactly my point the other day...... RNwannabe wrote: Wilson's numerous liaisons indicate to me that Wilson can effectively replace people who fill niches in his life with other people who can do the same thingI didn't put House in that "numerous liaisons", sorry... I thought you're talking about his wives. Wilson seems so overwhelm with House that I find hard to imagine any other person in that role.
Wilson seems so overwhelm with House that I find hard to imagine any other person in that role.ITA. While most, if not all people in Wilson's life are just filling niches, House is a whole different story. I think Wilson is fascinated by him, and drawn to him like a moth to a flame. ETA for better phrasing.
So do you think that if House didn't exist in Wilson's life, he would find somebody else to fill out that role?Yeah, I do.
