Guys, don't get mad at me Don't worry, nobody's mad at you. I just don't really get upset by the end of AYA because a) I think he was mostly asking her in an attempt to keep Wilson and Cuddy away from each other and b) to find out if she was interested in going out in general or specifically with Wilson. I think the whole AYA/House Training thing was a big "what are they getting from each other that they can't get from me?"

MissViolet- 08-28-2007

Hm, I think House is attracted to Cuddy. It seems clear that they have some sort of history - one-night stand, perhaps? Also, he often flirts with her and occassionally she flirts back. I'm thinking of that hilarious "call the Make-A-Wish Foundation" line when she thinks he's dying of cancer and he takes the opportunity to hug her and cop a feel Also those fertility injections - he did seem to enjoy rubbing her ass ("those microbes can be tricky"). Of course, I am a big Cuddy/LE fan so I can't see how any man wouldn't be attracted to her, unless he's completely gay. I think House is attracted to women and appreciates them, not just for their beauty, but also for wit and intelligence. Sometimes I'm dismayed at the way TPTB sets this up because I don't think Honey, Cameron, or Ali, or Annoying Rape Victim are particularly good matches for House. I don't think he'd be interested in them as intellectual equals. They are easy on the eyes, but so different from the women he does seem to find appealing: Stacy, Cuddy, dwarf!Mom, and wheelchair-bound-kickass-doctor-who-stole-his-parking-spot (whose name I've forgotten but I wish she'd be a reucurring character, she was awesome). Before you all throw stuff at me, I do think House + Wilson = OTP but I just find it a bit hard to accept, canon-wise, that House is not attracted to women.

Before you all throw stuff at me, I do think House + Wilson = OTP but I just find it a bit hard to accept, canon-wise, that House is not attracted to women. I wasn't trying to imply that House is not attracted to women. I think that he's very clearly attracted to Cuddy, I've even conceded on several occasions that he's attracted to Cameron (physically only because I agree that she's not his equal on any level and he's not all that interested in her apart from appreciating her looks). BTW, I'm one of the two people on the planet who liked Honey, I'd pick her to be with House over Cameron. I never got all the Honey hate, she had two scenes. Anyway, I know that House is attracted to women, it wasn't my intention to dispute that. ' In terms of the House/Wilson relationship it's more of an attraction to each other's personalities, if that makes any sense.

I am sure they both are attracted to one another sexually. They might not acknowledge that yet, though. It is also my very strong fanon that both House and Wilson have thought about other men sexually in the past. If they ever acted on it - my feel on the matter changes daily (YES I THINK ABOUT THIS DAILY SUE ME). One drunken night? Several? Teenage groping? College experiences? Regular encounters to this day that they wont admit to? So many possibilities. If I were DS I would devote the entire 4th season to exploring all of them. Alas, I am not :(

And DS is still a (seeming) Ham shipper, so he probably can't see past 'House and Wilson are best friends.' But I'd mark it down as several drunken nights...sometime ago. And if you got sued for thinking aoubt H/W every day, about 2/3 of HHoW would get sued along with you.

If they ever acted on it - my feel on the matter changes daily (YES I THINK ABOUT THIS DAILY SUE ME). You and me both, Jouse! Oh, HTR got there first. A short while ago I would have said they hadn't acted on it with other men, only with each other (OTP etc) but I'm now definitely leaning towards the other way. Army brat experiences for House, college high jinks for Wilson, and since then the occasional open-eyed encounter for House and deeply furtive liaison for Wilson. And all that on top of regular encounters to this day with each other, of course.

And Chase, when they get bored. :D

LightMyCandle- 08-28-2007

Add me to the list of those who think about H/W daily. How can you not? They're so interesting and complicated and screwed-up, and HOT :P And DS is still a (seeming) Ham shipper, so he probably can't see past 'House and Wilson are best friends.' Don't get me started on DS.

Hail the Random- 08-28-2007

Especially the screwed up part. I'm surprised that Cammy isn't stalking Wilson too. Go ahead, LMC. Start on DS.*braces for impact*

RNwannabe- 08-28-2007

Yeah, I'm a H/W addict. And I believe that they think about each other sexually, OTP style, have for years, maybe even acted on it (perhaps as recently as "Safe"?) I'd like to think there is no other man for House than Wilson, and vice versa.

Hail the Random- 08-28-2007

All I know is that if House has a little extra limp in his limp, we know why. ;)

LightMyCandle- 08-28-2007

Go ahead, LMC. Start on DS.*braces for impact* I can't. It will just turn into one big long rant about why I really can't stand the guy and once I got done with him I'd have to move in on KJ and by the time I got finished it would look like the Hulk had been through here. Don't worry, odds are that at some point during the season he'll tick me off enough that I'll let him have it. I just think that he and I have different views on the show and seeing as how it's his show, he wins, hence the bitterness. In short, my main issues with him are that he doesn't seem to care about Wilson and it really does baffle me that he can't see why HAM is just a bad idea. I'd like to think there is no other man for House than Wilson, and vice versa. Oh, totally. That's why Huddy and Wuddy doesn't bother me, she's a woman. When either of them start making nice with other guys then I get defensive. Well other guys and Cam.

Hail the Random- 08-28-2007

Like Dr. Cox on Scrubs? Who just has those really really really long rants about notihn in particular? And I suppose it is possible that DS doens't like RSL, but the rest of the crew won't let DS axe Wilson because everyone else likes him. Who's writing the first episode? I need to know how badly we'll need St. Doris's episode after.

LightMyCandle- 08-28-2007

Like Dr. Cox on Scrubs? Dr. Cox is my hero. I  him. And I suppose it is possible that DS doens't like RSL, but the rest of the crew won't let DS axe Wilson because everyone else likes him. :hang: Wha?? Do you want me to hate him more?

saara_zaara- 08-28-2007

Don't worry, odds are that at some point during the season he'll tick me off enough that I'll let him have it. Feel free to use the Bitterness thread when you are ready to let loose 8) it really does baffle me that he can't see why HAM is just a bad idea. We've been discussing how Cameron has been turned into a (metaphorical) dead duck in s3 on the Cameron thread, so maybe he does finally get it. I'd like to think there is no other man for House than Wilson, and vice versa. Imagine, a whole summer with no kids now they are gone, just House & Wilson - wonder what they got up together? You know they must have done something ;D
