I don't think there's anything strange about Wilson not touching people, he's just not a touchy-feely person. Actually it's another interesting contract in his character. He's the caring comfort-giving guy so you'd think he'd be all about the hugging, but he's not. I don´t have anything against Cuddy, I really like her. I just wish she chose her sperm donor far away from House, or Wilson. She did. Or were you referring to future possibilities?

I don´t have anything against Cuddy, I really like her. I just wish she chose her sperm donor far away from House, or Wilson. And I really, really hate Ham. >___<¡ It really gets on my nerves. I loved Cuddy before the hell of Huddy, and then Wuddy. Not only did TPTB shoved it down our throats, they also changed Cuddy into a sort of person I don't really respect, and into a much less interesting and entertaining character. And I even don't want to talk about ham (no bashing and such) but I believe TPTB dropped it, at least for now. I hope :? Wilson touching House's shirt in Need to Know is one of my favorites moments between them! Morning, Jimmy! And House doesnt back away from Wilson's touch *big stupid smile* And of course Wilson's annoyance about Stacey *bounces* Ok enough fangirling. I'm a bit tipsy :P

hwshipper I love your fanon, can I adopt it, too? :D I don't think there's anything strange about Wilson not touching people, he's just not a touchy-feely person. And you're probably right. I don't remember if he ever touched Grace. I read too much fanfic and sometimes I forget that the touchy-feely!Wilson is not really on the show... But I like this paradox about his character. I loved Cuddy before the hell of Huddy, and then Wuddy. Not only did TPTB shoved it down our throats, they also changed Cuddy into a sort of person I don't really respect, and into a much less interesting and entertaining character. I loved Cuddy before the Tritter arc. But I still can't forgive her indifference with Wilson's problems during that time. And that whole Huddy and Wuddy didn't help either. But I have a question: I was rewatching Human Error tonight and I noted something that I didn't the first time I watched the episode - three nights ago, actually - in that scene with Wilson in the OR and House on the monitor Wilson turns to talk to House and House remids him that he actually can't see Wilson. Wilson seems embarassed and we can see a nurse/doctor looking very amused, despite the mask she is using. I found that scene so suggestive that I loved it. Did I imagine the nurse/doctor reaction? And isn't interesting how much Wilson needs to make eye contact with House, even if there's no eye contact at all?

Lully, I'm always only too happy to have people on board my particular version of my ship! Re Human Error - there definitely is a reaction from the person next to Wilson as the camera deliberately pans over to show her (amused) eyes. I like to think this is the sort of thing House does all the time to Wilson and his surgical team are like 'ah, it's House again. (indulgent)'

I loved Cuddy before the Tritter arc. But I still can't forgive her indifference with Wilson's problems during that time. And that whole Huddy and Wuddy didn't help either. ITA. I really couldn't stand the way she just ignored his problems. But since I realize it's never going to be addressed again and we're never going to get an apology I'll just have to learn to let go, because generally I do like Cuddy (in small doses, none of that FP/Airborne crap.) I will say that House Training helped ease the pain, it was so nice seeing Cuddy and Wilson having a conversation that was not about House. Wow, that was Off Topic. On Human Error, I do love that scene. I just love that House feels he has the right to just start up a conversation with Wilson no matter what he's doing, talking with a patient, doing surgery, etc. He really does have boundary issues. So cute

it was so nice seeing Cuddy and Wilson having a conversation that was not about House. So much WORD for that. I don't remember if he ever touched Grace. After Boyd accosted here in the hall Wilson put his hands on Grace's arms and asked if she was all right. Guess that's when we should have realized that she was more than a patient...

Personally, and with several supporters, apparently, I agree about Wilson's comment that made this thread title. And about being amazed at what you can live with...which resounded on so very many levels. I totally see and feel the House/Wilson/Laurie/Leonard chemistry. (By the by, I'm not a slasher and I don't look for (homo or otherwise)sexual overtones. I just calls 'em as I sees 'em.)

I loved Cuddy before the Tritter arc. But I still can't forgive her indifference with Wilson's problems during that time. Couldn't agree more! Everytime I see Wilson and Cuddy's scene together in W-A-M, I want to hit Cuddy on her head for how she was acting all worried if Wilson had sold out House to Tritter instead of being worried about what was happening to Wilson. I did love Wilson's response("Relax. I'm not gonna mess with your precious resource") to that though.

Captanne- 08-26-2007

Oh, my stars. That was House's comment. I just seem to have Wilson's reaction to it fried into my brain. Something about forearm porn. Or disconcertion. I think. Or maybe not.

Captanne- 08-26-2007

I just rewatched Human Error today and I was amazed by the brilliance. And the forearm porn. I admit it. I'm weak.

LightMyCandle- 08-26-2007

Aren't we all weak when it comes to the forearm porn? :D So, I was just watching Drake and Josh (yeah I watch it, so what?) the episode "Josh is Done" and it got me thinking. Who do you guys think needs who more? Do you think that House needs Wilson more than Wilson needs House or do you think that Wilson needs House more than House needs Wilson? Or is it equal?

Captanne- 08-26-2007

I have no idea who Josh and Drake are but I will weigh in on House needs Wilson more than Wilson needs House. Wilson has managed to creep into the marriage beds of no fewer than three women and a not-so-marriage-bed of Grace. House? Had Stacy (argh). And, for a brief bit, Hector. And let's never (NEVER) forget Steve. Otherwise? Not so many successful or long term relationships.

And let's never (NEVER) forget Steve. Otherwise? Not so many successful or long term relationships. And he tried to kill both Hector & Steve  My two cents: Wilson may have managed to marry three women, but surely there's no doubt whatsoever that House's relationship with Stacy was far more successful and long-term than all three of Wilson's marriages put together. And I'm not sure you'd define Grace as either successful or long term either! We have, on the other hand, see House apparently 'pull' fairly easily when he wants to, even if such relationships would just be one-night stands (Honey, the air hostess in Airborne). Which we haven't actually seen Wilson do. For all House talking him up. Other takes on this?...

Lully- 08-27-2007

Do you think that House needs Wilson more than Wilson needs House or do you think that Wilson needs House more than House needs Wilson? Or is it equal? House needs Wilson in a kind of "practical" way. He needs him to talk, to have company, to eat and watch tv. In a way, Wilson seems to be a good distraction to House (not to mention Wilson is again prescribing to him). I like to believe he is much more, since House chose to do all this things with him. But if Wilson suddenly was gonne (God, no!) House'd survive. Sure, he'd be more cranky and bitter, but he'd find someone to "replace" Wilson and he'd be to much stubborn to admit that he missed Jimmy - remember Stacy? Wilson, on the other hand, seems to need House in a more emotional, deep level. The whole Tritter arc showed us how much Wilson was willing to sacrifice to keep House safe. He needs to know that House is there, alive and safe. Not to mention that House is the only long term relationship that Wilson has (or so it seems). But I wish it'd be equal. They both need each other but in a different level, like a vicious cycle. Remeber Bonnie's line? "You need him and he's always there for you", or something like that.
