Namaste, good point. But somehow I think it was lack of trying. In Fidelity didn't Wilson say something to the affect "that's what breast look like"
Um, yeah, that was saracasm. Bonnie said that he was fantastic in bed and that no one worked harder to please a woman. He knows what a rack looks like.

He was also doing a breast exam when he realized that he was on speed. And, as it was a consult, I assume he was asked because of his expertise.
I'd say he's quite familiar with the female form from both a clinical and personal standpoint.

Doh! Of course, Poeia! Then there's the fact that he's a doctor. Yeah, he knows what breasts look like. :-)

I want to know why House is friends with Wilson!
Well, HL has said before that he doesn't know how anyone could be close friends with House. Which as I've mentioned before, I love, because I love that the actor who plays him thinks (as House would), "Why the hell does Wilson stay?" While the actor who plays Wilson thinks, "How could you not?"
RSL seems charmingly confused everytime he gets asked that question, always giving an answer along the lines of, "What do you mean? How can you NOT love House? He's smart, funny, etc."
My personal opinion is that House was initially attracted to Wilson's intelligence and sense of humor. I imagine their first meeting as being some situation wherein House mocked the dreamy young cancer doc, and then was surprised when Wilson reciprocated with banter of his own.
In my personal canon, House became friends with Wilson but he also had Stacy and some other friends, so they didn't start out immediately as joined at the hip. His universe was still small, but not quite as small as it is now. I think it's common fanon, and borderline canon, that what bonded them intensely was the infarction. Stacy left, whatever other friends were around left, and Wilson not only stayed but (as in canon) actively took on a caretaker role. It intrigues me as to what made him do that, and sacrifice so much. I'm sure Wilson had a lot of other friends (at least at that time) yet I'm not sure he would've done that for anybody but House.
I'm sure it was no picnic, either, taking care of House. I think many people - even when bonded by blood or matrimony - can't deal with that situation, so it intrigues me that a friend stepped up to that role. I love my friends but I don't expect any of them to basically put their lives on hold if something like that happens to me.

With all the talk about Spin I decided to rewatched it last night, just Wilson's scenes, actually, and I was surprised about his last one, during the montage. I never really paid much attention to that scene, but it's interesting that we can see Cameron looking at old photos (from Joe), House looking for Stacy's files and Wilson alone in his office, looking at what? We can see House's and Cameron's "chains" - the musical choice is also very telling - with their respective past, but not Wilson. Are they implying that whoever keeps Wilson "in chains" are not in the past? Do I make any sense?

My recollection, though unfortunately I can't put my hands on a screencap, is that Wilson was reading a baseball magazine in that final montage.
Meaning... he isn't in chains at all? Perhaps that he's quite happy with his past? OK so his marriage is falling apart for the same reason as the previous two times... but hey, let's read about baseball :?
What I'd give to actually see that scene on the show...

Isn't it breathtaking?
Oh, it's hot. It's so hot. :P

Hmmm, that's very interesting. I don't know. I don't think any of his wives would keep him "in chains" after the marriage was over, becuase I don't really think he cares all that much. Someone from his past keeping him in chains could theoretically be LLB but I don't think this had anything to do with that. It did look to me like he was reading a magazine or sports paper or something. Perhaps it's more of him being unable to really confront his own issues? I know he finally (supposedly) went to a shrink last season but Spin was S2. He's a private person, I don't think he likes even thinking about his own problems, YMMV.

He is reading a baseball almanac. I only know that b/c I also watched Spin this weekend. And I have a penchant for a certain (world series winner) baseball team. ;)

Jouse, it's...

Hee... I wasn't trying to be so literal... What I mean was the other two were somehow looking to their past, Wilson wasn't. Maybe because his "someone" isn't in the past at all, if his "someone" is House.

ITA. Because they have of course been lovers for years & still are. Oh damn, that's just my personal canon.

See also that Cameron look the picture and camra focuse of his husband friend, then Wilson, sad, pretended to read a sport magazine. After camera focuse on House;)
how hwshipper said, House is the past, House is and the future of Wilson:)
He is his only one friend.
The chemistry between Robert and Hugh is so might, and now i can see that the chemistry get increase with every moment. Especially in season fourth. I can feel the electricity that run between House and Wilson to us, through the screen.

Okey dokey. What Wilson was implying was that he wasn't getting any of late. Damn it must be a group of horses - clickety clickety click they go!!!
