This is horribly random, and I hope I'm not breaking any rules in asking...but I was wondering if anyone here knows of any good H/W essays? My mom and sister are finally beginning to see the wonder that is House and don't really understand why I ship what I ship. (Example: Ducky's Mom- Oooh, now understand what you see in House/Wilson! Ducky- Mom...that's Chase.) I'm hardly an eloquent person so I figure an essay or two would be a big help n.n edited by arizonamyrie for html/color tags

If you are talking about fan fiction, there are 4 threads devoted to it in the Cafeteria. "Oh It's Story Time. Let Me Get My Baba" is where you would ask people for recs. "Melancholy without Hope" has people's lists of their 8 favorites. "Water's October, Right" is for discussion about fanfics. "Is That a Challenge" has links to current writing challenges.

Hmmm...yeah, it's not so much fanfiction I'm looking for as it is essays or articles written about the ship or its subtext. I've looked through a number of LJ comms but haven't come up with much, and Google didn't help either. I must have missed the fic recommendation thread while I was perusing the forums. Facebook keeps tempting me-but I have not yet gave in. Not sure I need another website I never update. But I'm still thinking about maybe doing it. Puts on Mod Beret: Please use different colored fonts (bold type, italics, etc.) sparingly. Keep the font color to the default black. That way, I don't get excited and try to click on a link and then have to deal with the crushing disappointment when there's no link on which to click Thanks.

I have Facebook but it is my public RL face... nothing HW shippy about it at all (far too many work colleagues are Facebook friends). So you shouldn't be able to find me on it 8) Which has not stopped me browsing the HW Facebooks groups out there (though not joining them). Last time I looked there was one very tempting one called the MRI of Luurve: House/Wilson fans on the Interweb. And another one where people took turns being the next Mrs Wilson.

Some of the best analysis/essays written about the H/W relationship were done by bettina for H/W LJ. I think these were done back in May, June, July and August. Sorry I don't have a link.

Belated comment about House, Wilson and his wives. IMO House met Wilson when he was already married with wife #1 From Spin (ep. 2.06) Wilson: My wife wasn't dying, she wasn't even sick. Everything was fine. I met someone who... made me feel... funny. Good. And I didn't want to let that feeling go. I think he was referring to wife #1, and his 'someone' can't be anybody else but House.
