So, who of are exclusive, OTP H/W shippers? Me! Me!! OTP, BFF, ETC!! I don't mind tossing in Cuddy or Stacy from time to time, just to liven things up, but if Wilson isn't there, what's the point. IMHO. Totally agree, House + Wilson = OTP! I will occassionally read a threesome fic that includes both of them, but only for the hotness factor. House and Wilson's relationship is the one I truly adore - all those interesting emotions: romance, love, close friendship; the playfulness, the way they lie to each other, snap at each other, all those strangely intimate moments between them, the understated affectionate remarks... *sighs dreamily* I am sure I think about H/W more than a person of sound mind ought to...

Nope! Not an OTPer at all. Me, I'm all about the OTC--House, natch--and I like him with a good selection of the main cast and several guest stars besides. Also, House/piano! House/his emo manpain! Come on, guys, there's a broader scope here! Wilson/House/Cuddy is my OT3, though, for sure.

How can I resist this subject? :D First I have to tell you that I believe that Wilson was talking about House in that scene at the end of Spin. House was Wilson's someone IMO. So I think that Wilson is aware about those feelings for a long time. The emotional and intellectual attraction is undeniable, but is there a physical attraction as well? I don't know. That's what I wish they'll show us one day! I use to think that Wilson doesn't touch House because he's afraid of losing control. It's a nice thought, actually... After I watch the season 3 finale, I started to think that Wilson may try to act on those fellings. Something changed in Wilson POV in that last scene, but what, I don't know yet - I hope you bring me some answers when the new season starts in US :wink: I prefer that Wilson takes the chance and jumps House because if House jumps Wilson first, he'd be repeating the whole cycle that Bonnie described. I hope they can change this behaviour and what I think prevent him to do something is the frienship itself. It's dysfuntional, screw up, stupid, but works for both of them. The idea of losing it must be terrifying. But I want him to do something. I want them together at the end, realizing that they are right to each other, that they can make the other happy (well, maybe happy is a little too much, but I hope you understand my point...) I don't think Wilson is in love with House. I think he loves House - if I understant this right, in love is similar to infatuation and I think Wilson's feelings are much deeper. That's my fanon. I don't think is hard to make it work in canon but what do I know, anyway...

I too, believe that Wilson was talking about House at the end of Spin. It just makes the most sense. I know that he loves House, I believe that he loves House more than anyone. I don't know if he would ever act on his feelings for two reasons. a) he doesn't want to lose House and if he put his feelings out there and got shot down that could potentially ruin the friendship or if they did get together and it didn't work out that could also ruin the friendship and b) Wilson puts House's needs first. If he doesn't think that their being romantically involved would be best for House or he thinks that House would be better off with someone else, he wouldn't make a move, JMO. I also agree that while I'm sure he loves House, I don't really know if he's in love with him, at least conciously. As fot the touching thing...I recently watched a whole bunch of Starsky and Hutch fanvids and I forgot how much they touched on that show. It kind of ticks me off that the most we get is brief touching almost exclusively initiated by House.

It's crystal clear to me that Wilson was talking about House in that scene in Spin. Wilson doesn't seem to be touching a lot of people, unless he has to in a work-related way, which I find interesting. Wh-hoo! I managed to convert a friend of mine to H/W! WTG HTR!! I'm still working on converting mr GG, but I fear it actually has to be canon before he's willing to concede his 'they are both so incredibly straight' point :glare:

Wilson doesn't touch anyone unless he's doing the "sorry you're dying" thing. As for the Wikipedia page, those things aren't written by TPTB so they're no more valid than our opinions.

None of my RL friends are H/W shippers, heck, they don´t even watch House. T__T So, I need to vent my fangirl attacks somewhere. =P I´m also part of the LJ com (I´m sakurita there), but I need moar H/W!! *w* I only read/write/think about H/W. Once in a while I read threesome fics with Chase, but only when I´m in the mood of a hot PWP fic. =P I don´t have anything against Cuddy, I really like her. I just wish she chose her sperm donor far away from House, or Wilson. And I really, really hate Ham. >___<¡ It really gets on my nerves.

The not touching Cuddy was so strange to me - maybe because I'm from a place where touching and kissing is so usual, specially among friends and when you want to comfort someone. I felt so uncomfortable during that scene. Wilson touching House's shirt in Need to Know is one of my favorites moments between them! Thanks for remind me :) But why this avoidance to touch? I've expounded my own fanon (fanwank would be more accurate) on this sort of thing before so at the risk of boring everyone - yes I think Wilson is in love with House; yes I think he's physically attracted to House; I don't think he necessarily recognises what he feels for House as love because he thinks he's been in love with all his wives, when with them I think he confuses love with other feelings (e.g. pity, affection, sexual attraction, a desire to please & respond in kind to women who were in love with him); I think he's felt this way about House ever since they met pretty much (about 20 years ago) & that he and House acted on this a *long* time ago; that he absolutely was talking about House in 'Spin' and his comment 'You'd be surprised at what you can live with' refers to the umpteen years of an on-off, fractured physical relationship he's had with House; and despite all that there's a certain amount of denial about it, because part of him badly wants to conform (because of living up to parental expectations in absence of LLB etc) which manifests itself in things like the no-touching (in public) - of House for obvious reasons, and of other people because, frankly, House is THE ONE and (as shown in canon) madly jealous of anyone else touching him. Whew. Enough from me, I'm sure.
