Wasn't she also mentioned in All In? from the 'All In' transcript: House: Anything lower, you wouldn't sound so excited. Jacks are higher, your voice sounds like Debbie from accounting is sitting in your lap. Ask Cuddy if she can beat a pair of threes.

I think oncology nurse, Debbie, Grace and Bonny are meant to demonstrate this aspect of Wilson to us. House isn't the only one to trigger or to use this impulse of Wilson's. Well, we actually don't know if Debbie or the nurse are needy... But I agree, Bonnie and Grace even have the same physical type. We are supposed to see what kind of person attracts Wilson and his MO. Filex wrote: If that's my flaw you are the grea-*test*-('") beneficiary of it. And we know it's true. This is an area where House and Wilson differ greatly. House would most often run away for fear of getting involved. I think that's why House blows out of proportion Wilson's ability be there for someone. He doesn't really understand it, it scares him, and he may even admire and envy it little. ITA. I think most of the time House overreacts (including with Debbie) and judges Wilson's little chats (like he did with Wendy) in the wrong way. After all to House is always about sex.

I think oncology nurse, Debbie, Grace and Bonny are meant to demonstrate this aspect of Wilson to us. House isn't the only one to trigger or to use this impulse of Wilson's. But he's the only male. Every other person we've seen Wilson go into caring mode for was an attractive young woman. For how LLB fits into the timeline, it makes me  but I think they've just forgotten about him so he's not supposed to fit at all. I would be very happy to be proved wrong!

So. If it follows that there are 3 love interests, let's look at how much we know about their families: Wilson most, Cam in the middle, and Cuddy the least. Cuddy, we literally know almost nothing about aside from her career, including her romantic/sexual past outside of House. With Wilson, we not only know Wilson's family's basic composition but a little hint of their dynamics if they could have a missing relative they never mention. Neat analysis. Bizarrely, this also supports the "House is in love with Foreman" subtext thesis, since we have met both of Foreman's parents, know his brother is in prison, have heard a bit about his stint in delinquency, and have met women with whom he was in both a casual and more serious relationship. Or maybe I'm just obsessed because that's my favorite HoYay thesis. Ahem. Back on topic, though... I just finished watching Mirror, Mirror again, and I loved the "You would pick up my laundry" scene. Especially with Wilson's little "I wouldn't do that to you" at the end, which was very sweet.

On a frivolous note, I'm wondering if anyone else has seen the House/Wilson/Bert/Ernie Youtube videos? Wilson's TV is broken and Wilson worries too much. They make me laugh a ridiculous amount.

I posted this on the ep thread, but I thought I would bring it here, too. They missed a hot ticket with House's ringtone. They obviously wanted to make a point with the ringtone by making it Salt-N-Pepa's Whatta Man. However, I would have enjoyed it if they had used Anti-Flag's I Don't Want to Be Like You for Foreman's ring on House's cell phone, and Bitch by the Rolling Stones for CTB. Whatta Man should be reserved for Wilson.

I've been saying this all over the place, Wilson's ring tone should be 'Hot Stuff' *imagines Wilson doing the Full Monty dance on that song...*

Lyrics to Whatta Man. He's not a fake wannabe tryin' to be a pimp/ He dresses like a dapper don, but even in jeans/He's a God-sent original, the man of my dreams

RNwannabe- 11-07-2007

Yes. Every time. I would have loved the customized ringtones......

idonmatrix- 11-07-2007

Okay y'all that song just reeks of Wilson and teh gay.

MaryIsobel- 11-07-2007

Well, we actually don't know if Debbie or the nurse are needy... Hmm don't know about Debbie because I merged her with Oncology Nurse in my head but the nurse was needy: Wilson was comforting her because she was new to oncology and was having a hard time with it.

I'm not sure that every time someone has a problem or goes thru some difficulty they would automatically be titled needy. Most people go thru times when their job or home life can be overwhelming or have to deal w/ failing relationships. While you might reach out for help or advise from friends or colleagues is that really being needy? To me needy implies something bigger, more encompassing and probably long termed. I hate to get technical but: needy adjective 1. poor enough to need help from others 2. demanding or needing attention, affection, or reassurance to an excessive degree Of the people we're referencing re. Wilson I only see one fitting the bill, House. I could marginally accept Grace but even there I think lonely or isolated is more apt.
