Do you know when the baby is due or is it twins? RSL made that comment he didn't monozygotic twins had to be the same sex. God that just makes me laugh so hard.

@glassyo...It's the 08-23 Yes. I also had to laugh as Robert talked about the topic. Simply exquisite the man. For this I love him.

Hi With all due respect but has 23rd August been offically confirmed as their wedding date or is it an educated guess? Because another website said it was the 8th August but that was not confirmed. I personally think they were married the first weekend of August and are spending their honeymoon in either New York or HongKong, but that is jmo. :D

glassyo- 08-17-2008

@glassyo...It's the 08-23 I thought that too because of the Crate and Barrel registry but I didn't think it was confirmed the registry was actually theirs. I can be very trusting and then very cynical. :) Then this person pops up on the imdb with August 8th and I'm like where the hell did that date come from? Not that it really matters. It's not like any of us were invited. Damn those Leonards!

RSL has done another audiobook, called Selected Shorts: For Better and for Worse, a collection of short stories themed around marriage. There are different readers, but according to Publisher's Weekly, RSL reads Luis Alberto Urrea’s “Say Farewell to Her Many Horses,” about a Caucasian husband’s tenuous relationships with his late wife’s Native American parents.

That is from the reading RSL did last year (Feb, 2007) at the Getty in Los Angeles. Good that they finally released it.

If RSL did get married on 8/23, he apparently had a very short honeymoon, as he and Gaby were at an event in Thousand Oaks, CA on Thursday night. Gold medalist Will Simpson honored, Ventura County Star The article comes complete with RSL putting his foot in his mouth again. He means well, I'm sure of it, but... "This is the real thing, and Will is the real thing, and I'm really happy for him," said actor Robert Sean Leonard who stars in the TV show "House." "Acting awards are all politics, and it's nice to get them, but they don't mean anything. This is different. Medals are legitimate, and the contests are legitimate."

His comment made me laugh - he's way too honest for his own good :D I love watching TV award shows but they really don't have any value, apart for the US TV studios and the chosing of the winners always seem very random. At least with the Olympics whoever wins on the day gets the medal, and it's a worldwide competition. This is of course why RSL will never get a lead role in a TV show - the execs would be too scared to hire him because of his PR gaffs. Mind you, as we all know he'd hate playing a TV lead role anyway - no sleeping time :)

Mind you, as we all know he'd hate playing a TV lead role anyway - no sleeping time :) Yes, every now and again, one gets the feeling that he would have much rather been cast as Coma Guy.

:x  When is the Salick/Leonard marriage going to be announced? Or did it not happen?

ixtab- 09-03-2008

When is the Salick/Leonard marriage going to be announced? deelaundry I've been keeping an eye out for a tasteful announcement on Playbill (or some other Theater related mag) since the last time RSL went on a "PR blitz" that's the media he chose ''

Do you think that RSL is the type to wear his ring? So many people I know don't wear their rings. Or maybe I just know a lot of swingers.

scrivo35- 09-04-2008

Hi If there is any announcement it will come from the bride not the groom because she told the German press they were getting married and it was her who told the press they are having a baby. RSL when pressed on the subject of marriage told the press they were too busy even though she was telling people they were getting married in August.

Poeia- 09-04-2008

scrivo, but that's before the fact. Even though he's not a favorite subject of the paparazzi, getting a picture of a wedding is the type of thing they'd like. He'd be more aware of that possibility than she would be so, if they want it to be private, he wouldn't confirm it. Once they're married, I can't imagine that he'd deny it. Anyway, it wouldn't have to be an announcement from either of them. After the wedding, marriage certificates have to be filed with the city within a certain number of days in order for the marriage to be official. At that point it becomes public record. So, as long as reporters check the right City Hall, they'd find out. (And I'd guess that The Enquirer and The Star check most of towns around LA regularly.)

RSL was the first one to say to a news outlet that they were getting married in August. He mentioned it in the Playbill interview back in June. I can see RSL not bothering to reach out and announce the wedding after the fact (Ethan Hawke didn't, did he?), but I'm surprised the Salicks haven't publicly announced it, given how wealthy their family is. I would've guessed that would go along with social standing. But maybe I'm wrong.
