Although there is something extremely attractive about a guy confident enough to walk around in chipped glasses I'm inclined to think that it has less to do with confidence and more to do with the fact that he's cheap --which i find amusing.

Hmmm. Cheap. Not as attractive. I shall stick with my original fanwank. This pleases me more... *crawls off to indulge fantasy*

Although there is something extremely attractive about a guy confident enough to walk around in chipped glasses I'm inclined to think that it has less to do with confidence and more to do with the fact that he's cheap --which i find amusing. Maybe not penny pinching but the same personality trait that makes RSL and Gabriella show up to the Tony Awards wearing the exact same outfits they wore to the Emmy Awards. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/Pigbottom/006wa03s.jpg http://farm1.static.flickr.com/84/231527633_f6c54481c4_b.jpg Makes him not aware that he has a nose hair the size of a small twig hanging from his nostril http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l2/Pigbottom/RSLNOSEHAIR.jpg Makes him start chowing down on someone's half eaten corn muffin http://volcanicensemble.blogspot.com/2006/10/six-degrees-of-celebrity-baked-goods.html Or take a slice of pizza off someone else's plate http://forums.televisionwithoutpity.com/index.php?s=&showtopic=3127729&view=findpost&p=8414002 Or argue w/a St Louis tv reporter on a press junket that St Louis should be prouder of Harry S. Truman, all the while oblivious to the fact that Truman hailed from Independence MO and had no ties to St Louis. http://community.livejournal.com/capslock_house/78466.html?thread=1227138#t1227138 It's a kind of Mr Magoo obliviousness and self absorption and social awkwardness that is fun to observe.

radiosweetheart- 08-16-2007

Or take a slice of pizza off someone else's plate You people talk like you never steal food off of someone else's plate! Elitist bastards! The lot of you! RSL is just thrifty is all! THRIFTY!

Jouse- 08-16-2007

 He probably thinks of all the people around him like one big happy family. Or he's a mooch.

DIY Sheep- 08-17-2007

That's why RSL can become 'a tad on the wrong side of skinny' sometimes - because he steals every bit of food he sees. Maybe that's where they got the idea for House nicking Wilson's food. I thought poor Hugh had been looking skinnier lately. RSL (knocking on Hugh's trailor): Hey Hugh, what ya doing? Hugh (hurriedly hiding sandwich): Nothing! or Director Monkey (during House's epiphany scene during the drugged coffee episode): Okay guys, that's a wrap. You can go. I said you can go Robert. RSL: But I just want to finish this sandwich! Hugh: But I have already eaten a bit of it. RSL: Yeah, but only one little bite. Oh ya gotta love RSL and his crazy zany 'I think I'll take a newspaper to the Emmy's' way. He takes them everywhere. He went to the museum and someone snapped this brilliant photo of him scowling at the photographer and hugging the New York Times like a baby. My favourite RSL story is the time he went to support Hugh Laurie playing at some concert and read the newspaper. Hugh: Were you reading the newspaper during my set? RSL (looking slightly shifty): Er... nooo! ... But for some slightly less zany info about him. He comes from a nice family and I do believe his brother is a fireman. And he has a thing about carpets.

One brother is a policeman. Shoedog found a pic of him once - a tad portly if I recall correctly. And... SHOEDOG! So happy you're here. Do you happen to have the fruit salad quote handy? And do you recall which interview it was in which RSL said something about how great it was working with HL and kind of implied the rest of the actors were beneath his notice? I really need to start indexing my RSL quotes/anecdotes.

DIY Sheep- 08-17-2007

I think the question is - what with the crack in his glasses was: did he notice them or was he just too busy reading the paper and eyeing off Hugh's sandwiches? But RSL does seem to get on very well with Hugh. In those promo shots Hugh always appears to be making RSL giggle (no - stop that)! Which is sweet. But then again RSL knows Ken who knows Em who definitely knows Hugh!

He went to the museum and someone snapped this brilliant photo of him scowling at the photographer and hugging the New York Times like a baby. Hahahaha! Where is this photo? I'd love to see if it matches the image in my head. *giggle*

RNwannabe- 08-17-2007

Much love to you, Shoedog, for those fabulous links!!

Jouse- 08-17-2007

and eyeing off Hugh's sandwiches? I bet he did *giggles RPSely*

radiosweetheart- 08-17-2007

shoedog is your one stop shop for all your RSL needs. RSL loves his newspaper. Yes, loves it! It's his precioussssss! 3rd picture down. But they're all gold.

DIY Sheep- 08-17-2007

Robert Sean Leonard's dark intellectual rage (and Precioussss). DARK INTELLECTUAL RAGE - GRRRR! And a small bit of his fiance Gaby.

Jouse- 08-17-2007

LOLZ, love for the psychotic glare.

piepeloe- 08-17-2007

Love the pic. He's such a geek. Quick question, what does the thread title mean? 'Quiznos? Fantastic'? I guess I must have missed something...
