Am not sure that the info about the play is correct, dates listed on the link for it are 9/8/1994 - 10/22/1994, not 2007. I think Dee is saying that, had she invited RSL, he would not have attended her wedding as he was appearing on Broadway during the relevant time period. And Dee, I will be forever convinced that prior commitment is the only thing that kept him from commemorating the day with you and Mr. Laundry.

Here is a lovely interview with RSL and Ethan Hawke talking about filming Dead Poet's Society. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxtN9Gyj-A4&NR=1

I think RSL's brilliant. Are there any bets going on how long it's going to take the Emmy people to notice this? I was rewatching the Tritter arc with a roommate who was seeing it for the first time and it's RIDICULOUS how good he is. The man is definitely in the same league as HL and I wish more people saw it.

I always have to remind myself that RSL is not an oncologist when I watch the show. He embodies it so well. He's a casting directors idea of what a doc is. A dash of nerd, yet handsome.

I think RSL's brilliant. Are there any bets going on how long it's going to take the Emmy people to notice this? Tragically, I'm going to say never. He is so perfect in his role. I can't imagine anyone else doing what he does. I honestly think that all the other supporting roles could be played just as well (in one case better) with other actors but not Wilson. RSL is irreplacable, IMHO.

AGREED.

Word to everything you said. Hopefully ewith more screentime in S4, he'll get an EMMY nod. I was really pissed that he wasn't nominated this year. I also think the TPTB are beginning to recognize that BOTH RSL and HL are what gives the show it's PLATINUM quality. The way RSL played the guitar kidnapper was just priceless. I cannot stop watching the scene where he imitates a screaming guitar string. eeeeeeee!!

I just listened to the radio interview RSL gave (linked in the media thread) and he speaks of his "father-in-law" the doctor. Okay... did boyfriend and Gaby finally get hitched? How did I miss this important news? I thought the fiancee was moving to Israel or something to compete in the Olympics. I'm actually sad... not that I ever had a prayer (and husband and kids might protest)... but still I liked knowing he was single. Somebody explain!

LightMyCandle- 09-27-2007

I don't think they got married. They might have but I just think that he's been with Gaby for so long that they're basically married anyway so he would just think of her dad like his father-in-law. But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong and they could have snuck off and got married. She's gonna be competing in the Olympics? That is so cool.

galaxygirl- 09-27-2007

I think it's like LightMyCandle explains it. I don't think it makes much of a difference when you're together for as long as they have been the SO's family will be seen as in-laws. That's how my sister spoke about her then bf's, now husband's family(they were together for 7 years before they ghot married). Hell, maybe they did get married, he doesn't seem like the kind of person to put that on the cover of People.

RNwannabe- 09-27-2007

Yeah, it would.t surprise me if they got married years ago, and just forgot to mention it to anyone.

idonmatrix- 09-28-2007

Personally, I don't think he's married or got married. I agree with others. It's just an expression people use who have been together for awhile. Another part of the radio interview I found interesting is how close he and HL are. Apparently they spend a lot of time together away from work. IMO, this is reflected in their onscreen chemistry. It all sort of fits together. I just want to know if RSL will do some theatre during next year's hiatus - even if it's just a couple of performances. I wondered if anyone had seen these of RSL in a Shakespearean Workshop http://community.livejournal.com/rsl_daily/118284.html. Amazon release date - 2004 but they were probably taken earlier. These were originally posted at MICHELLEANN68's live journal RSL is soooooooooooooooooo pretty.

RNwannabe- 09-28-2007

Another part of the radio interview I found interesting is how close he and HL are. Yeah. I like how he said that, not only was Wilson House's only friend, but that RSL was HL's only friend in L.A. RPS, anyone? And that Shakespeare workshop was just the cutest!

Captanne- 09-28-2007

Not to nitpick but didn't RSL say that Laurie was his only friend in LA? It would make more sense. Given that RSL is on the first plane to NYC when he can but Laurie has is established with Band from TV and taking boxing lessons, etc.? IOW, Laurie is actually living out there and taking part in local activities. RSL, oth, bugs out the second he can. BTW, I'm surprised the network let's Laurie box and ride that death machine. He's the anchor of their most successful scripted drama. If he were to pull a Barbaro that would be very bad for FOX. But that's for another thread.

deelaundry- 09-28-2007

Does anyone have a transcript of the radio interview?
