I don't have the original transcripts anymore. I copy them into Word and doctor them into the format that works best for me. I want American spelling. And I want the descriptions to match what I saw (e.g. there was one where the transcriber said Cameron looked turned I but I thought she looked grossed out.) I delete most of the descriptions of what characters are thinking -- I think that's the job of the actor and the director, not the screenwriter. (And I always picture the transcribers who like a lot of description, going through the 4 or 5 that I did and adding details because my version is too minimalist for them.) For Seasons 1 & 2, I've gone through the episodes with the subtitles on and fixed things to my satisfaction. I've only done it for a couple of S3 episodes so far.

Thanks, Poeia. I just use the online scripts as I have no other. I'm sure yours are excellent. And I want to play the game right. I've got the answer to the quote from googling + the word patterns. My question is, is that a legal, acceptable way to play here?

Can I get an A and E please poeia?

I've never tried googling it, but I definitely start searching the transcripts when I have guessed a few words. I can come up with the episode and the general thing, but not word for word without the transcript. 123: --. / ---'-e / a / -a--- / -ea-e-. / -- / -- / --a- / a / -e---a---e? / -- / --- / --e-e- / ---e---n- / ---e / "----ne / -ea--- / -ana-e-en-"? / ------- / --- / ----- / -a-e / -en---ne- / --a- / - / wa- / ----n-. 789: -'- / --a- / w--- / “-a--- / -ea-e-,” / ------ / ----e. 123: --... / --a-'- / a / n--e / -ne. / --- / ---n'- / e-en / -- / w--- / “- / -ee / an / - / -n / a / -e---a- / --a-.” 789: --e / n---e- / -a-- / a---- / --- / a / ---. 123: A-, / --n'- / -e--e-e / --e-. / - / -ee- / a / ---- / -n / -- / -an--. / -a---. / --a-'- / an---e- / w--- / --- / --n--an-e, / --n'- / --? / - / ne-e- / -n-e------ / --w / -e---e / ----- / -e / -- / ----- / -- / -e--e--n- / -n / ---e---n- / w--- / n- / ----- / -- / a- / a--. / ---e / --a-'- / an / a---e-e-en-. OK. Sounds like this is ok. (Solving by word patterns.) If not, let me know. House vs. God House: So. You're a faith healer. Or is that a pejorative? Do you prefer something like "divine health management"? I thought God might have mentioned I was coming. Boyd: I'm OK with 'Faith Healer', Doctor House. House: Oh... That's a nice one. You didn't even go with 'I see an H in a medical coat'. Boyd: The nurses talk about you a lot. House: Ah, don't believe them - I keep a sock in my pants. Faith - that's another word for ignorance, isn't it? I never understood how people could be so proud of believing in something they have no proof of at all. Like that's an achievement. New puzzle soon (but if someone else wants to step in with one, that's fine too.) ETA: I'm popping in quick from work. My home access is wonky, so someone else is welcome, even encouraged to add the next puzzle.
