Poeia- 04-30-2011

Born Yesterday closes in mid- July so RSL will be free. I've been hoping that Jesse did that to his hair for a movie role. They could be moving the show to a more 24-like schedule, starting the season as late as January but with almost no breaks after that. I'd like that. The summer would be long but once it starts it gets to keep momentum.

Can any of our French friends translate please? Thanks in advance. http://img862.imageshack.us/i/img0049e.jpg/

Can any of our French friends translate please? Thanks in advance. http://img862.imageshack.us/i/img0049e.jpg/ My (very crappy) understanding of French suggests that she is saying Hollywood doesn't 'do' women in her age group well-that if season 8 happens (still uncertain) and then a season 9 she would be 47 or 48 in the series; too old to play the romantic lead and too young to play the grandmother.

Your French isn't crappy at all. :-) She says first that she got a warning phone call from Fox, after her ad on women's abortion rights, and then that menopausal women and Hollywood don't go along well. She says negociations (at the time of interview) are ongoing for season 8, and if there is a season 9, she will be 48 at the end, but that she has got lots of other ideas (for acting).

I like that she is talking about season 8 and possibly 9. That gives me a little hope she may not be going anywhere.

It would help with the ratings if it could get out from underneath the DWTS audience.

And more pleasure for viewers. Think we can start a chart for sugestions? I can't find the Lisa Edelstein French interview (found another one with stupid Huli questions, but not this particular one.) Any help?

Alex Solether has tweeted that "Episode 2 was written by David Foster & Liz Friedman. Being directed by Dan Attias."

Greg Yaitanes has been twitpiccing some set costumes for Halloween. My favorite so far? The assistant director as Charlyne Yi

That's so awesome! Love Charlene Yi :)
