I noticed that in the reviews so far. We don't seem like a silly bunch of campers anymore, who imagine things. We are a valid ship dammit. Amen! :P:P oh, and fffaw, I love you for the explanation of Wilson's not-quite-the-usual-exasperated-look ^___^

No chatspeak (i.e., 4man for Foreman) and we need to chill on the caps (it's shouting, people). We're not allowed to shout? What if we're shouting in real life? This seems to be an etenuating circumstance, and I'm sorry, but I shout when I'm excited. It's not even real shouting. It's typing! But you know what I'm interested in? In the way this episode was discussed, in both the writing room and at the first read-through. Because the script likely looked something like this: WILSON Just looking at you hurts. I'm gonna order up some more pain meds. HOUSE I love you. I mean, how do they analyze these things? Really really practically, what is the thought and discussion that goes into line readings like this? I know this is something of an unanswerable question as long as no one from the show comes on this forum, but I'd so like to know. I mean, in theater classes in college, we have to do script analyses and talk about what the character means by their dialogue. They MUST do this in television, too, no matter how frivolous a top-rated drama might seem. It's legitimate drama, so I'm just wondering how many theater practices carry over onto the small screen.

I watched the clip again (shocking, yes) and did anyone notice how House kept his eyebrows up after he finished saying, "I love you." It made for an open, inquiring expression, like he was wanting/expecting Wilson to say it back. :D

I only going to see the episode later tonight, but I already saw "the scene" and I have a question: can someone tell me how long is that scene? In seconds, I mean. In the YT clip it takes 92 seconds, but I don't know if it's all there... So I wonder...

oh my god I've never been this happy in my life :falls over, wriggles on the floor:

This seems to be an etenuating circumstance, and I'm sorry, but I shout when I'm excited. It's not even real shouting. It's typing! Everybody puts the occasional word in all caps for emphasis -- I know I do. But when it is used consistently throughout a post, it is distracting, difficult to read and gives your fellow forum-members a headache (exactly as if someone were shouting at them.) That is why the rules ask that posts in all caps be kept to a minimum.

Just wanted to mention something about a scene in 97S that isn't THAT scene. Shocking, I know. It's just... I was watching the scene between House and Amber (Cut-throat Bitch). She asks why he paged her and his response essentially says that he doesn't believe anyone other than Wilson would help him for anything other than professional reasons. That broke my heart a little, right there. I also love Wilson's scene with the n00bs - he's devestated, but it's so subtle. I love that he's in casual clothing as well. Not just for aesthetic reasons, though seriouslyhott!Wilson certainly never hurts, but because it tells us that Wilson was off work, chilling in his hotel. He basically came rushing back into the hospital (with a bag of House's stuff?) to check on House and take over his duties. How is that not love? Yup. Theirloveissocanon.

I also love Wilson's scene with the n00bs - he's devestated, but it's so subtle. I love that he's in casual clothing as well /.../ Wilson was off work /.../ basically came rushing back into the hospital I thought about that too! Another thing about that: I was soo anxious to see who'd be by House's side when he woke up, because, take for example, the faked cancer; Wilson was absent almost all the time. I was extremely relieved and happy to see him there this time! :o:) YES. Theirloveiscanon.

It sure would have been nice to go into that scene unspoiled. That really would have been awesome. See, I always have captions on my TV so I actually read the line a split second before House said it and it stopped me dead in my tracks. I seriously could not fathom what had just happened. I also love Wilson's scene with the n00bs - he's devestated, but it's so subtle. I love that he's in casual clothing as well. He was so upset but trying to keep it together and I love that he would come back from his hotel(not that I ever thought he wouldn't) to be with House and take over with the newbies. I wonder who called him? Do the newbies really know about them yet?

:( I have to say I miss the original ducklings, even though they're still hanging around.. :( I came to think of Chase's "I'm sorry you're dying. I'm gonna hug you", and the fact that we didn't get to see their reactions... sure I'm happy H/W didn't get any competitions here, but still... I wonder who called him? Do the newbies really know about them yet? I just assumed Cuddy called him.

407- 10-10-2007

"It hurts to even look at you..." "I love you." Whatever. They can just end the show now and I wouldn't even care. Guh. My brain, it hath asploded. ETA - The ducklings have had enough reactions. You know, they got the shooting and the cancer. Wilson deserved a turn. I have a feeling that new!Chase would have just rolled his eyes.

Lulu- 10-10-2007

The ducklings have had enough reactions. You know, they got the shooting and the cancer. Wilson deserved a turn. Yes yes absolutely, I agree. I just haven't gotten over the fact that they're not on House's team anymore. I'm not a big fan of changes, takes me some time to adjust.. 8)

LightMyCandle- 10-10-2007

ETA - The ducklings have had enough reactions. You know, they got the shooting and the cancer. Wilson deserved a turn. Amen, I was sure we were at least going to get stuck with a Cam reaction again, but nope just Wilson and sort of Cuddy. Life is so good right now.

407- 10-10-2007

All the world is right. This whole feeling incredibly happy thing is kind of disconcerting. It's creeping me out a bit... I don't know.

Siriusly- 10-10-2007

I so agree about the lidicrously happy feeling that has descended on the fandom. It's...weird. BUT WONDERFUL! If TPTB care at all, they'll see how much it means to us, and perhaps make this a weekly occurrence...? Too much to hope for, I assume. But I'm still holding my torch for BGW. Any day now, really.
