I don’t think anyone mentioned House saying Wilson was getting the last of his “hormone shots” when he was moving Mr. Lee. House making Wilson the girl. Filey! Good to see you here! Doesn't House always make Wilson the girl? I'm thinking of, "You blow dry your hair?" and "Either you go all in or I tell everybody in the building that you wear toenail polish." I'm sure there's more but I can't think of them.

But his attitude toward Wilson the Department Head was interesting. Maybe they were secretly dating, but went through a messy break-up?

Hi filey! I have to ask, the gay male nurse (I think he's gay, at any rate). Was he Hispanic? Are we supposed to believe that Wilson was learning Spanish to be able to speak with him? Inquiring minds want to know. Saara, that's immediately where I went too. the male nurse had two scenes with Wilson which I think in and of itself is significant. And they were hot together. But the male nurse obviously spoke English so I don't think that's it. But his attitude toward Wilson the Department Head was interesting. Cutie!Nurse seemed surprisingly familiar and not at all apologetic with Wilson when he was caught napping in the cancer patient's bed. He was also very coy w/Wilson about House's page. To me he was projecting "You two are fooling no one with the not being a couple thing. Care to make it a trio? 'Cause you know you want a piece of this." And yeah saara, my first thought was that he might be hispanic or mixed (my happa!radar bleeped a little). And if he is bilingual, it would be to Wilson's advantage to pick up some telenovela Spanish, IMHO, because Spanish pillowtalk=teh hawt. /Fanwank Word on shipping those two . . . or three. My favorite HoYay moment of Alone (after Wilson's S&M string story, of course): Wilson telling House the guitar was under the couch so House would bend over to check. Because that was a total excuse for a blatant ass!check on Wilson's part. You know it's true. I'm so glad they put some good H/W in this ep, because the POTW was . . . Also, was Cuddy's (sexy-as-hell) white sleeveless sheath officially the tightest thing she's ever worn? Or was it the (wrinkly skirt) cream colored suit in the first scene? I'm all for Cuddy dressing how she wants but that actually looked restricting to movement. Is there going to be an arc about her tailor trying to slowly suffocate her? Did she buy all her clothes while she was wasting away from something? Or are her tighter and tighter outfits meant to lend credence to House's "Cuddy's into bondage" theory? If so, will there ever be some real payoff on that character trait?!?! Inquiring (and slutty) minds wanna know. But thanks to TPTB for that great booty shot when she unplugged House's guitar from the amp. ETA: Word to Wilson still living in the hotel (srsly Wilson?) poss. = closet metaphor. Why else drag that bit on so long? We know this show's relationship to continuity. Yay to House having a key! XD And Wilson always assuming he and House are going to do every social thing together is mad Hoyayriffic. Also, I am in love with everyone on this thread.

As far as the guitar-like I said in the ep thread: guitars, cars, boats...they're all female. It's just the way it is. I don't understand it but who am I to argue with tradition? A rumor spread by male guitar players to hid the homoeroticism inherent in their choice of instruments. Name me one part of the female anatomy that you wrap your hand around like you do around the neck of a guitar. (And then slide your hand up and down the length of that particular body part and...)

radiosweetheart- 09-26-2007

Ha ha, Poeia-you aren't too far off. Ever spend any time in a van or on a bus with a band? Or in a hotel room... Wait...what? HoYay to the nth degree. Even when there's drunk chicks everywhere those guys are way more interested in each other. Frustrating. Name me one part of the female anatomy that you wrap your hand around like you do around the neck of a guitar. Ankles? Wrists? Oooo...sexy sexy wrists. Although-HL was rockin' some hand p0rn last night. For real.

Sauty you rule. Uh, you can actually do that to a guy though too, right? :thumb up:

hwshipper- 09-26-2007

Also, I am in love with everyone on this thread. WORD. I've been staying out of this thread all day til I saw the ep & now I'm wallowing in it. Wilson thinking they were going to lunch in a restaurant? Is my new canon evidence for my they-are-so-totally-doing-it-already-off-camera theory. Because this is what its usually like.

sautomne- 09-26-2007

Sauty you rule. Uh, you can actually do that to a guy though too, right? :thumb up: But of course! And I do think that it's very gay of Wilson not to know that guitars are automatically named after chicks.

romanshoes- 09-26-2007

MAGIC HOYAY MOMENT! Right after the building fell down, in an attempt to ignore the idiotic commercials, I turned my iPod on random got Suck My Kiss by RHCP: Hit me you can't hurt me Suck my kiss Kiss me please pervert me Stick with this Is she talking dirty Give to me sweet sacred bliss Your mouth was made to suck my kiss And then the rest of the ep was filled with dirty sexy S&M guitar torture. Obviously my iPod is a prophet of HoYayly goodness and should be regarded as an oracle of slash. ALLELUIA, DOMINE!

Cirrocumulus- 09-26-2007

Speaking of guitar!porn, I've always found guitar-playing rather suggestive, but it wasn't so much the action on the neck as the repetitive up-and-down hand movements at crotch level...! I like this last episode the more I think about it, I'll have to rewatch it sometime.

idonmatrix- 09-26-2007

Name me one part of the female anatomy that you wrap your hand around like you do around the neck of a guitar. Well there's always the male anatomy. It's the part that's long and cylindrical that you can wrap a hand around and then slide said hand up and down.

I figured this would make people happy: I made my roommate watch House last night, and she'd never seen it. When Wilson and House started interacting, I started to explain how they had a kind of codependent relationship, and she was like "Oh, so they're gay?" Lol...that was her impression!

Sautomne suggested that this might be a good place to post this. Someone suggested rating the level of Hoyay in the S4 episodes. then I responded with: What is the scale range and should there be a thread called Hoyayometer or Season 4 Episode Hoyometer. Folks could rate the episode for 6 days and then on the 7th day when the next episode airs we could post the final rating for the previous epsiode. Also in the thread people could give their specific reasons for giving it a high or low hoyometer rating. I'm not brave enough to create a thread for it or a scale. I think some of the awesome H/W fanfic writers (Aftershocks Writing Collaborative?) could come up with a great scale using dialogue from all 4 seasons. I think full body contact like a hug or a kiss or . . . . 10. Hoyatastic dialogue (FFL - Poconos?) would probably be a 9. I would imagine no H/W would be a 0 - like Airborne or a .5 like SDL (2) FP (3) or Euphoria 1 (2). Quantity would be one factor and the other would be quality. For example, there were H/W scenes in Lines in the Sand but only one was even remotely hoytastic "we share toys, feelings . . ." to me. And there was also another scene in the same episode that was definitely hoytastic but it was between House and Cuddy. Let me stop I'm confusing myself. Is this something that people would find fun. I know I would be checking it out every week.
