I don't think so, Taigs. That doesn't sound like something Leno would bring up.

They actually didn't talk about the show much (at all?). More about Hugh and his family, and Band From TV.
Did folks see the ad from Seventeen magazine? RSL and HL wearing "Everybody Lies" t-shirts (encouraging people to buy them to support NAMI). Just awesome.
hwshipper- 09-22-2007
The ad IS awesome. Never mind selling the T-shirts, if they sold the ad as a poster (or indeed as a T-shirt) I might be tempted.
BTW, though I realize folks who frequent this thread probably aren't that interested, we also have a HetYay thread for those pesky H/Cam vs H/Cuddy debates
HetYay? Sounds like pandering to minority tastes to me...

It's all the fault of David Shore and his heterosexual agenda.

Indeed. I have no desire to walk around with "Everybody lies" printed on my chest, but I might consider buying a poster of it.

I believe I named the Het-Yay thread, that's all I want to do with it *g*
That ad is pure love. Awesome, like I want to marry it and have it's babies awesome.

I don't know what's wrong with walking around with "Everybody Lies" on your chest. Sure, it gets you some strange glances...Okay, there is something a little iffy about it. Still, I wear it! (And get ostracized...)
No but really, am I the only one on here who owns that shirt?! I wore it to freshman orientation. No one else at my college has it.
piepeloe- 09-22-2007
I've been thinking about getting one, but shipping costs almost as much as the shirt, so I'm reluctant. I do adore the ad. I want that ad. But most of all I love what it represents: H/W in promos! And it's all around this season. You'd think they'd do something with all those new people, or with the ducklings to reassure fans, or with Cuddy if we're going to be subjected to Huddy anyway...But no! H/W everywhere!
Taiga- 09-22-2007
Siriusly, I didn't say there was anything wrong with wearing that shirt. There's not. I just don't want to, is all.
Hail the Random- 09-22-2007
I'm totally OK with wearing both H/W and Everybody Lies. I do custom T-Shirts for me and my friends anyways.

It is linked from the media thread but for all of our convenience:

I got a T-shirt from cafepress.com once with 'I guess I've been cursed with the ability to do the math' on it for my other half (he's a theoretical physicist). When he wore it he found people staring at his chest a lot and told me he now understands what half the population feel like...
Anyone recommend any H/W hoyay T-shirts out there? There must be some!
LightMyCandle- 09-23-2007

I know. What's up with all the H/W stuff? Not that I'm complaining, I'm thrilled with it but it just seems odd to me. I'd think that what with the Huddy and all there would be more stuff pushing that with HL and LE or like you said more advertising the newbies. But they're really going to town with H/W. They're even standing next to each other in the promo shots, which is AWESOME seeing as how RSL is usually on the end. Oh and that ad is so much love and hotness that I think I might cry. :P

This place has been so quietly lately...
So, any theories why they put H/W in that ad, instead other pairing, or just Hugh? And why in a teen magazine (it is a teen magazine, isn't it?)?
ETA
Ok this was supposed to be post before LMC
The only reason I can see is that H/W are a better bet to sell the T-shirt among the shippers. Or they are trying to test their popularity. I'd buy one if I could...
