Her artwork is absolutely beautiful. I wish I could draw people like she does. After several years of art classes, I can draw animals, still life, landscapes, but I have not managed to be able to draw humans. I envy elicia's talent.

But come to think of it, HAS Kutner said anything super-straight? He doesn't come off as gay at all to me but it would be SO fun to have a gay fellow. * And it would be overdue for this show to have an out homosexual regular. I mean, "Brothers and Sisters" does it! So can "House"! And if they're really increasing the regular cast to include two or three more fellows, it would make sense that one out of eight or nine cast regulars would be gay.
Actually, now I'm worried they'll go for the Thirteen is a lesbian plot point. But that's not very "House". She has to nurse a weird UST relationship with House, so she must be straight.
Word to hoping for an Out fellow. (or Oncologist. Who also heads a department . . .)
My fanon is that Cuddy's weird plea (WTF vagina token hire?) for 13's spot on the team is because Cuddy plans to mack on her at the PPTH Holiday party. (Tokenism = bad; potential sexual harassment = Otay! Me = not a role model) In my head, Cuddy'll be wearing one of her hot little red numbers from MLC. My head is a happy place.
And just Say No to UST between 13 & House that goes beyond House acknowledging that she's hot (See? I'm totes being reasonable). Except for her occasional inability to emote, Thirteen & her suspenders would fit in nicely at the local lesbo bar*. And if she's not going to come out as Lesbotronic, she should at least come out as a Newsie. 1 in 10 people are Newsies right? That's just science.
*Hell yes to all this Kutner/Wilson business, btw. So FTW. Get your Cougar on Wilsie (eyebrow!ship FTW)! I mean has he seen Kal Penn's lips? Rawr. And then Kutner's interruption (grrr) of H/W's awesomely hot argument in Games would have been like, foreshadowing, or something.
I liked Cole (and Cole/Kutner, awwwww), but losing CTB hurts more. So much potential femme!slash, GONE. Sigh.
*Perhaps next to me watching the Republican YouTube Presidential Debate and cheering for Gen. Kerr.

Off-Topic but can anyone believe it's been nearly a year since MLC? Oh my GOD the angst. I loved the Tritter arc. Hear me? Loved. What I didn't like was the extreme lack of believable resolution.
But that's a rant for another thread.
All I came here to say was that the "awesomely hot argument" between H & W in last night's ep seemed really token to me, and I've generally been a champion of S4 (while desperately hoping that it'll get better in '08). For the most part, the dialogue was trotting out the same old tropes of their dynamic and while HL and RSL rocked it, it felt tired to me. Also, like I mentioned, upon second viewing I really felt like it was a bone-toss to shippers more than anything else. I speak only for myself, oh Powers That Be, when I say I'd rather have three minutes of genuine exploration of H/W's relationship than five minutes of redundancy.

I actually loved the H/W game scenes, especially the fight scene. I think the the writers have shifted their perspective from showing House and Wilson's friendship at work to showing how their personal relationship affects their work relationship.. In another scene, House said that Wilson usually leaves his checkbook at home as his go to excuse for not lending him money. Does this mean Wilson has moved out of the hotel? Are House and Wilson leaving together again - in a new place? Over the last few episodes, I've gotten more of the sense that House and Wilson are being presented as a couple - a very hot and intense couple.

I actually really liked that it served as a kind of organic follow-up to House's recent recklessness. I think that's what mostly triggered Wilson's anger. I mean, he's got to be on edge after having his best (only) friend nearly killing himself twice. And there are all the parallels between House and the guy who was only happy when he was dying. I can also see Wilson holding himself back lately from really coming down hard on House for the near death experiences after the whole Tritter fiasco. The fight didn't really feel redundant to me because Wilson was the one who seemed on edge, rather than House.

ITA, I thought that in both 97 Seconds and YDWTK, Wilson was holding back a lot of anger. Wilson was definately the angrier one in the fight, I think it escalated because he was the one who was really upset (rightfully so). Given House's recklessness this season, it kind of felt inevitable. It actually felt like a turn around for me, with House pulling a Wilson.

Idon, you mentioned Wilson's checkbook scene and the possibility of him having finally gotten out of that hotel. I too think it's quite possible he has. And the part you mentioned where House says Wilson usually leaves his checkbook "at home" struck me. The way House said that, I swear the first thing that popped into my head was that it sounded like they might be living together.
Also, in that scene, Wilson mentions using his checkbook to pay for his cable. Wouldn't that suggest a home other than the hotel?
Lully made a good point over on the ILU thread about the fact that their interactions now are almost always about their personal problems and the patient isn't the main reason why they seek each other out. I hadn't really noticed that until I read Lully's post. That seems to me like a very coupley thing.

I was thinking the same thing about how the "at home" comment could be construed as evidence they are living together again, but then I realized that Wilson likely wouldn't pay for House's cable bill. So, either he's subscribing to a super-channel package at his hotel (or a new apartment), or the writers weren't thinking when they penned that line.

You can also take the cable bill reply as bad lying from Wilson, since he's in the hotel and all. However, I believe he does have cable in his hotel, hell why not, he already has a tivo.

Unfortunately, that's the conclusion I came too as well. Actually, I can see Wilson paying the cable bill if they lived together indefinately but Wilson said, "I do have cable," that to me says that they're not living together. BUT I refuse to give up hope.

Just think of it this way: how cheated would you feel if it was revealed that Wilson moved back in with House and we were never even shown the events that made it come about (ie. did House ask him, what made Wilson change his mind, etc.)? If we are going to get another taste of the Odd Couple, I want to see all the gory details leading up to their living arrangement.
And that's still a possibilty this season.
:)

I think it's interesting that the exchange led some of us to think or wonder if House and Wilson were living together. But here's the thing, it's possible that they're living together and Wilson has cable hooked up in his bedroom, which is where most people have their cable and/or in living/family room. If I were House talking to Wilson and he was living somewhere other than the hotel and not with me, I would have said "at your house or apt or place". The only time I use "at home" is when I'm talking to my husband because of course we live together. But my husband said that it could mean Wilson's own place.
But I really do think there's a strong possibility that they're living together. I don't think they would show us the process because how they got there because that would be part of peeling back the onion on their relationship. The other tidbit that I would like to offer as potential evidence is House eating Wilson's lunch which was in a tupperware container. Is there any evidence that Wilson has a kitchenette in his hotel room?

Wilson was eating food out of a tupperware container in at least one of the Tritter episodes and I thought the chicken mole from WYD was also from a tupperware container, but I could be wrong there.
