The scripting, acting, continuity, character development and effects are the WORST I've EVER seen. However, the HUGE AMOUNT OF GAY makes the show infinitely watchable despite all this.

Its basically a version of Dr Who for adults. And according to Auntie Beeb, that translates as Dr Who (which has a target audience of 12-14 year old boys :lol: ) with rather more characters who it turns out are pretty much all canon bisexual. 8) (okay, slight exaggeration there, but hopefully it makes sense).

IDK, I've definitely seen worse than Torchwood. The acting is pretty decent IMO (except JB who is ridiculously bad, but he can get away with murder for his other.... traits *giggles*), the scripts and plot varies from cringe-making-ly horrible to quite cool (ep. 8 is great actually), and most importantly - TEH GAY!! What makes this show such a refreshing novelty is that the characters get it on with both sexes without making a big deal out of it. No endless discussions re: sexual identity, they just do whom they fancy. I love that. I wish this approach to sexuality would expand beyond sci-fi shows.
