Obit - At Three on a Saturday Morning Three in the morning. How and why in the world would House call him to the office at THREE on a SATURDAY MORNING!?!? Foreman was beyond upset – he was enraged. Not only was it now the weekend, which his boss often refused to work, but there was this woman he met and brought home last night. So, it wasn’t that he was asleep, it was that he was missing the booty… At THREE in the morning. Foreman at least had the consolation of the fact that he wasn’t the only one called in. 13 said that she was called personally by House and was told to call everyone in; Taub was on his way as well. Maybe 13 was at least getting some action by the sounds of it. He sure wasn’t – not anymore tonight. So, as he was driving in, he noticed a cute little fluffy dog, swerved and… Three in the morning. How and why in the world would House call him to the office at THREE on a SATURDAY MORNING!?!? Taub looked over at his wife and tried to move in silence as he threw on a crumpled shirt still smelling of his wife’s perfume. To have the comfortable life he had to give it all up, just for her. It wasn’t in his nature to do so, he would have preferred the notoriety, money, fame… but that nurse didn’t see it that way. Taub sighed, he wasn’t on call this much as a plastic surgeon, certainly not… At THREE in the morning. Taub wondered why Foreman hadn’t been the one to call. Why 13? She said that Cuddy called her, something important and they all had to get down there. Did House finally pop one too many Vicodin? He wondered as he closed his car door. He tried to fasten his seat belt but there was a problem – the strap was all twisted. Oh well, who would be on the road at this hour? he thought and let it go. As he pulled down the road, he noticed a cute little fluffy dog, swerved and… At three in the morning, Remy Hadley was standing beneath the tree, cell phone open in one hand and dog leash in the other. “Yes, it’s done Brenda,” she said and closed her phone. “Good dog Schnookiepooh!” she exclaimed. Thanks for the compliments. I was first going to do something different with Brenda still being the cause, but it's too long and not Poeia safe (just ask her - PMed her for the specific definition and everything). Then, this kind of popped into my mind after thinking about e_c constantly killing off everyone and little dogs via 13. It made more sense to kill the dog, but it's not as funny after putting yours of seventeen years down about eight weeks ago (yeah, feel like Wilson - thanks Wilson). So, I had to let the dog live. And of course it was a cute fluffy one too. I did first post it with the dog dying, but felt too guilty. So, it was changed.
