House Survivor 4: A Joke and a Test
Because we need to stay occupied during the hiatus, here's a new Survivor game - based on House's own Survivor game. Please respect the spoiler pure among us by not including any spoilers about anyone on this list or House's team. The Blueprints (whoever invented this name please stand up and take a bow) all start off with 15 points. HHoWers can then cast either a (++) vote to give a ship 2 points, or a (--) to take away 2 votes. Each HHoWer can only cast their votes once a day. That's a calendar day, not 24 hours between votes. You can vote at 11:59pm, and again 2 minutes later at 12:01am. You can vote for 3 people at a time. When a ship's vote total reaches 0, it is eliminated. When half of the field is eliminated, then Blueprints will only be allowed to receive 1(+) vote, while still potentially receiving 2 negative votes. At this time, all votes must include at least one ship with a (--) vote because we don't want to just continue to vote everyone up. This is to help make sure the game doesn't last forever. Also, you can not vote for one Blueprint multiple times in a day (i.e. you can't slap Dobson with +6 in a day!)... it has to be 3 different Blueprints. Alliances are fine. Voters should be aware that if a HHoWer puts an alliance under white text, it's not a spoiler for House the show, it's a spoiler for the game. You’re under no obligation to suggest your alliances in spoiler tags. Also, you are under no obligation to join an alliance. *** Please also post the standings with your vote, in rank order. It makes it easier to do the math and prevents an overkill/waste of vote. It also helps if you bold the ships' names whose vote tallies you just changed. *** 1) Feel free to re-nickname the Blueprints as you see fit. Bonus points awarded to the HHoWer who gets people into trouble at work when they burst out laughing at something hysterically disgusting and/or funny. 2) The HHoWer who votes a Blueprint dead gets to concoct and describe the method of death. This can be as painless or brutal or speedy or horrendously drawn out as the HHoWer sees fit. Virtual cookies and applause for the best, and by that I mean worst, deaths. I had to invent a few Blueprints to come up with 16. Sue me.
