Jill was one of my top 3 clinic patients ever. Her delivery was priceless. Seriously. That weird, spaced out speech pattern of hers was awesome.

I walked by Crank: High Voltage at work the other day and saw none other than Mr Sprinkles (a.k.a. Lucas the PI or Michael Weston) as a paramedic. What is it with that guy and characters who hang out in the back of specialized trucks?

Michael Weston also has a role in an episode of the upcoming Burn Notice season (where of course, the main character is actually named "Michael Weston").

Is there any show that Michael Weston isn't on? Although I think being on a show about a dude named Michael Weston probably beats everything. Felicia Day, btw, was on "My Boys" last night which was a nice surprise for me in spite of the fact that it was apparently a hot topic on twitter.

Piper Perabo, who played Honey the nutritionist, stars in 'Lost and Delirious' which is on CKEM tonight. She plays a teenager who has a torrid affair with another female student, you know, the kind of movie House would watch. Lesbian sex scenes don't float my boat but it's a good film.

Erich Anderson (Act Your Age) showed up on "Ghost Whisperer" last night playing yet another of his stock "morally questionable, but ultimately okay" characters. Lame episode, but it's always nice to see him on television.

Probably old news, but one of the trailers before Star Trek was Year One (Jack Black, Michael Cera) and OW is in it. Release date is June 19th.

The fall season on Fox will include a co-starring role by Chi McBridge in something called Human Target (show details are toward the end of the blog. The show won't actually show up until mid-season, however. I wonder if this will be the Chi of Vogler, or the Chi on "Pushing Daisies." (I liked Emerson Cod better.) The show also features Jackie Earle Haley. I think it's getting a thumb's up on my DVR. (I could never pass up Jackie Earle Haley's motorcycle rebel back in the "Bad News Bears" days, and am pleased to see him with a second career now.)

Mos Def plays Chuck Berry in "Cadillac Records." A good movie, BTW, even if the timeline is totally whacked. MD was awesome in it--very humorous.

Hulu has a recent concert at The Beacon Theater by The Dave Matthews Band. I must say, he plays very well for a guy with half a brain.

I recently watched Forty Shades of Blue and noticed Jenny O'Hara (Fran from Airborne) in a small role.

Aw, this poor, dead thread. Just bringing it back up to post the yearly Apatowian cameo from Carla Gallo (Act Your Age): the latest is a quick moment in "Funny People" as one of Jason Schwartman's costars in his character's horrid sitcom.

Ariadne- 08-04-2009

ABC's pilot Defying Gravity seemed like old home week for House guest cast. Andrew Airlie (orange man from the pilot) was the NASA boss, Christina Cox (domantrix from Love Hurts) was the space biologist, and Ron Livingston (Sebastian Charles) starring as Donner. I also caught a repeat of The Outer Limits with Andrew Airlie along with a young Marcia Cross and the wonderful John Spencer. I'm hoping to run across the episode with RSL some day.

I also caught a repeat of The Outer Limits with Andrew Airlie along with a young Marcia Cross and the wonderful John Spencer. I'm hoping to run across the episode with RSL some day. If you're in the U.S., it's available on Hulu Outer Limits: Nest Season 6 : Ep. 20 (44:25)
