Homina, Homina, Homina: Hugh Laurie
...Do I need to add the word 'ACTOR' to the title of this thread? Because I can, honestly. Anyways, do I really need any sort of introduction? Go crazy and post about the pretty that is Hugh Laurie.

galaxygirl- 08-07-2007

ugh, the ACTOR part in front of their names on Twop just annoyed the bejesus out of me. Like we're stupid idiots who don't know they are actors *headdesk*

Hail the Random- 08-07-2007

Another reason why this is better that TWoP!!!

radiosweetheart- 08-08-2007

Hugh Laurie is an actor? Holy crap! Why didn't anyone tell me that before? Next yr going to tell me that I can no longer list James Wilson as my PCP.

Next yr going to tell me that I can no longer list James Wilson as my PCP. You can no longer list James Wilson as your PCP.

You mean Hugh Laurie is an ACTOR? All this time and I never knew. Like Captanne I have been a Hugh Laurie fan for a long long time. Although he was best known for his comedy work, he also did some serious dramas and even directed. This isn't serious. For those who haven't seen him 'au natural' here is a link to some of his early work in Blackadder The Special. Beware the funny accent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNMrMEcYNds

Having a brit as a father, I grew up on Blackadder, a bit of fry and laurie and Jeeves and Wooster, so for me it was actually the american accent on House that came as a shocker :P

misanthropicobs- 08-10-2007

Since I first saw Hugh in ABOFL, then Blackadder, yeah the American accent surprised me as well.

DIY Sheep- 08-10-2007

It took me 30 minutes to stop laughing when I first saw House.

I was more freaked out :) but after you get used to it, it's all homina homina homina over again ;)

Poeia- 08-10-2007

While you're watching, don't forget to check out 4:50 into Part 3. Somebody has seriously great legs.

Although he was best known for his comedy work, he also did some serious dramas and even directed. I'd love to see an ep of House directed by HL. I realize it'll never happen for all sorts of practical reasons*, but still. Somebody has seriously great legs. Yep. She sure does. mis!> *I'm on Santa's list for coal this year. Already.
