The Defamer is a showbiz blog that's aim is to be as snarky and mean as possible. The commenters are strictly there to make jokes (the meaner and sardonic the better) to the stories. That was just a joke by the commenter - I guarantee there's no other purpose to it and no inside info (in fact the commenter may not even care who HL is). They just went for an easy quip, which is the purpose of Defamer.
Don't worry about it. It probably seems harsh if you've never read Defamer before and don't know their shtick.

that wasn't even funny. (re: defamer)

olivia...I'm gonna pm you to keep the defamer stuff off the boards.
Thanks for the link, Boudleaux!. I read in his blessay (essay +blog, I suppose) that he was going to be writing this, but had no idea it was out. I do heart SF and his dorky interests, especially since I also adore Macs and have much similar feelings for their products. He's never too prolix for me.

haha, skipping back a couple of pages, my "... actually...." wasn't really, well, serious. In any way. At all.
It's kind of hard to get it across on the internet.

I was just thinking Hugh could've hooked up with Stephen (being in England over the weekend), then I remembered Stephen's in America. Prolly wouldn't have had time for him, anyway.
Wonder what time his flight got in.
Ok, you got me, I'm bored. I gotta go find one of those "life" things. Hehe.

Zzzzzz......hmmm?....what?.....what?!?
Well, crap guys. I've had the airport carefully staked out this weekend but must have zonked out in the executive waiting area. It's been pretty quiet in here and I'm afraid if there were any Hugh sightings to be had, I didn't make them.
On the other hand, I did have a "working breakfast" in the executive dining room where no eggs were broken for my omelette, so that was a thrill. Now I have to go remove these fashion pants and make my way into work.
Sorry for the letdown, everyone.

Bailey - hang on to those fashion pants, don't beat yourself up about it...if the strike happens on Thursday, he may be heading home again this weekend. Best to start your stakeout on Thursday just to be safe though.
We're all counting on you. (Airplane reference, get it).

Roger, Roger.
Actually, fashion pants are pretty much a one-time wear kind of clothing item. Best to just dispose of and start all over again, if necessary.
I wonder what the procedure will be when strike time comes. Negotiations could very well resolve themselves at any given time. I wonder how much leeway actors have in taking off away from set or if they at least have to stick around for an allotted amount of time before giving in to stalemate.
She has to *learn*.
I feel I deserve to be beaten.
