Stephen visiting Second City may be my favorite part from the Fry in America documentary, and not just because I grew up in Chicagoland. His "advice" to young Second City-ers about when success can come along is golden. ETA: An interview with Greg Grunberg where he talks about BFTV and Hugh's work in it. He didn't get to finish his sentence, but he was saying something about, "And we're working on some... Hugh's got... Hugh's just so brilliant..." I would love to know what Greg's talking about.

I loved Stephen bringing in Hugh there. :D

Stephen visiting Second City may be my favorite part from the Fry in America documentary, and not just because I grew up in Chicagoland. His "advice" to young Second City-ers about when success can come along is golden. Great, now I really, really want a hotdog. :D Love that bit, "that Hugh guy...House?"" LOL Also, I too wish Greg had completed his thought when he was saying how brilliant Hugh was. It sounds like the group wants to start playing some original music and Hugh is maybe a part of that process? Thanks for that Hughbunnies link. I ended up joining livejournal just to see the jogging pics and you are right, it was easy and worth it.

I joined so I wouldn't have to leave anonymous comments on fics. You don't have to post anything -- I've posted about 12 items in a year, but membership is worth it. Occasionally some pics on house_daily are also friends only. And, now that you're a member of hughbunnies, start working your way backward. They have lots and lots of nice pics of him.

Also, I too wish Greg had completed his thought when he was saying how brilliant Hugh was. It sounds like the group wants to start playing some original music and Hugh is maybe a part of that process? Thank you for that optimistic interpretation. My first reaction to GG not finishing his thought was, "he doesn't want to raise expectations about Hugh playing with the band, because he knows how unlikely it is that HL will be able to fit it in to his schedule."

Speaking of which, the items I ordered with Hoggin All the Covers shipped today. But the ship date for HAtC has been pushed back to November 6 (it was November 3.) Did anyone order it overnight? Has it shipped for you or are they having production problems?

TJRX- 10-27-2008

Thanks so much for the Second City link. I've enjoyed Stephen's trip through America so much, I've been trying to wait and watch four or five clips at a time but I had to skip ahead and watch this one. And yes, I have been craving a hot dog all day, but alas, the hot dog place on my way home from work is mediocre at best.

But the ship date for HAtC has been pushed back to November 6 (it was November 3.) My order (2 day prime shipping) still has an expected delivery date of Oct 30th, but it hasn't shipped yet nor has the status changed to the point where I can't cancel/change the order.

iamdaffodils- 10-27-2008

I was hoping my order would be in the "it's too late to cancel" status, but it's still not. My expected delivery date still showing Nov. 3rd.

Verbal_Kint10- 10-27-2008

My friend is going to be House at a Halloween party this year, and I was wondering if anyone knew what happened to that PPTH name tag template. I know I've seen a blank hospital name tag around here, but I can't remember who did the link. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry about my lack of specifics, lol.

iamdaffodils- 10-28-2008

Regarding Hoggin All The Covers, Amazon now has on the listing "Usually ships within 5-7 days" - and it still will let me cancel it. My delivery date hasn't changed.

hughsblues- 10-28-2008

Wait...I'm confused iamdaffodils...how come you want to cancel it?? Wasn't that Hugh video on amazon proof enough that you have to have it? I seriously might have missed something though...if I cancel and reorder at this point...is there a benefit like getting a better price? Sorry...my brain is still frozen from the game last night...

Sorry...my brain is still frozen from the game last night... hughsblues, I think that she just means that if she doesn't have the ability to cancel the order, then it has probably been shipped or that much closer to being shipped. It's all about the shipping. :D

Sorry...my brain is still frozen from the game last night... No hughsblues, I would NEVER cancel it! I was hoping it *wouldn't* let me if I did want to cancel it, which would mean it's in the shipping process, which is what I keep hoping. But now they have that "ships in 5-7 days" notice on there. eta - What Bergmanesque said :)
