I've fantasized about riding on the back of Hugh's motorcycle as well. Is that in addition to fantasizing about "riding the Triumph?" Actually, I haven't. Crazy about Hugh. Love to watch him in anything. But my crush is on Greg House and my fantasies therefore run to riding the Honda CBR1000.

Is it wrong that I've fantasized about Riding the Triumph? If so, I'm deeply, deeply sorry and promise not to do it ever again :) Does that mean I have to stop as well? :P I also move that "Riding the Triumph" become the official euphemism of HHOW. Man, I guess that is one crowded...uh, motorcycle.

Someone who wishes to remain anonymous just sent me this link to a Visual Aid Thank you Poeia and anonymous person! In my fantasy however, I'm holding on much, much tighter.

I guess there are 2 schools of thought there. Wrap your arms tightly around the driver's chest or grab his hips firmly. A combination of the two probably would not work unless one wants to be in an accident.

A combination of the two probably would not work unless one wants to be in an accident. Because of the height difference between Jo and Hugh, i would guess that a firm grasp of his hips (not that Englishmen have hips  ) is the best course plus she can probably hook her fingers in his belt... :D

Bahahahahahaha! :w00t: I wish we had a *taking a bow* emoticon. I've always considered him a perfect 12 actually. :) Hugh goes to 11. The numbers all go to 11. Look, right across the board, 11, 11, 11.... most blokes go up to 10. What Hugh does is, if he needs that extra push over the cliff of smoldering hotness, you know what he does?... He goes to 11. Well, I'm not sure if Hugh needs it, but I sure do! And your research is excellent, NightOwl. 11 it is. But I do believe the needle is stuck there. Nigel would agree. Absolutely. Oh yes. Trying to link to my evidence (screencaps on hl.net), but it won't work!

hl.net doesn't allow direct linking to pictures - it only works if the person clicking the link already has the picture cached on their machine. You need to link to a web page, or copy the pictures to your own image hosting space.

Over on the Media thread Misere posted a link to utube videos of David Shore's talk in Israel. I liked learning that Shore was very familiar with HL's comedy work (unlike Bryan Singer) and thought it would be fun to bring Hugh in for an audition even though he thought HL was completely wrong for the part, based on his previous goofy comedy roles. Then when they saw the tape they immediately knew they had found the actor they were looking for.

I never know how much of the audition stories are just that -- stories. They always talk about how both sides he received were House/Wilson. We've all seen the audition tape. It was House/Cuddy. But telling it as H/W makes the "Hugh thought House was the sidekick" story work better. (I assume his House side were House/Cuddy and his Wilson ones were House/Wilson.)

OK, this is not a new article, but the photo just made me laugh. Here's the link for those who could use a chuckle. Hugh Laurie's Juicy Celebrity Perk

That photo is adorable.

Obviously they gave it to him so he wouldn't have to be "soooo jealous" of Jay any more.

If it helps, Shore also says in the Tel Aviv tapes that HL actually auditioned for both House and Wilson, and Shore says the Wilson tape will: "never see the light of day."
