Hugh looked soo rested and happy at the awards show, soooo sexy and handsome!

travin1- 02-12-2008

I have the E! interview up now, also a glimpse of Hugh in the background during a bit on ET. click Can I beg you to please do a MOV file of it? I don't know why, but I can never see sendspacepro. Is there a trick to getting sendspacepro to work? The screencaps are great! Love the little LOTR reunion action behind HL too :-)

sendspacepro is just the file sharer. The file type is avi. Mary has some tips on her "help" page wrt getting files to work. You might simply need a different player or a missing codec.

I love the BAFTA awards clip if for no other reason than it demonstrates just how fully Hugh inhibits the role of House. Left to his own devices, Hugh walks like a completely adorable dork. His approach to the awards podium cracks me up.

His approach to the awards podium cracks me up. I think part of that is that he apparently borrowed someone else's tux. The sleeves and pants are much too short. It definitely give him a gawky look.

Seems like he borrowed someone else's shoes, too. He'd be way more comfortable in a nice pair of Shox. Seriously, how can an athletic guy, someone who makes limping look sexy, have such an awkward, lumbering walk in dress clothes?

olivia720- 02-12-2008

he should've worn those old brown boots he loves so ;)

amysusanne- 02-12-2008

It looks like he borrowed someone else's underwear, too. Oh. Those panties were mine. Sorry if they made him walk funny. I like Hugh's geeky, slouchy walk. It's like a giant trying to make himself inconspicuous, folding into himself. Bad posture shouldn't be that cute and yet, it is...

Stephen has posted a piece on Finland on Richard Madeley's blog- It definately sounds like him. http://richardmadeley.blogspot.com/2008/02/on-melancholic-reindeer-herders-of.html

Stephen has posted a piece on Finland on Richard Madeley's blog- It definately sounds like him. http://richardmadeley.blogspot.com/2008/02/on-melancholic-reindeer-herders-of.html Richard is sick in the head. And I'm pretty sure Stephen's not in Finland. But a contest to see who can find the original photo that this photo-shopped version cribbed from? Come on, amysusanne--you're good at that sort of thing. (If you can wrangle yourself away from Hugh's underwear, that is.)

amysusanne- 02-12-2008

Isn't Stephen somewhere headed up the middle part of American right about now, per his own words? It's just more of Richard's alternate universe being played out. And to be fair to him, I doubt that people who are actually fans/regular readers of his blog are at all confused by anything he says. We wouldn't be confused if, say, Hugh Laurie started blogging nonsense other than just the general confusion of Hugh blogging in the first place. Come on, amysusanne--you're good at that sort of thing. (If you can wrangle yourself away from Hugh's underwear, that is. Wait...how'd you know I was wearing...oh, yeah, I guess that was obvious. I didn't look at the picture. I'm going there now. I would love it if it were just the same picture. Actually, if he would just keep photoshopping that same picture into various different backgrounds and clothing for each mention of Stephen and his alleged exploits, I'd be genuinely amused by that. eta: damn. I would have felt very cool and all smart-like if I'd been able to identify that picture, but oh well.

I take back my words about Richard being sick in the head. He's merely desperately unfunny. Those I suppose someone, somewhere must be getting something out of it since he insists on carrying on about it. eta: damn. I would have felt very cool and all smart-like if I'd been able to identify that picture, but oh well. Yeah, it's fairly generic. Nothing to get too excited about.

Is there a trick to getting sendspacepro to work? The screencaps are great! Love the little LOTR reunion action behind HL too :-) You should download a VLC player. You can watch basically ANY downloaded video using that player, I mean anything. I hate quicktime as I never have the right parts and then i'll get sent to the site and it doesn't explain what I need. blah blah. Just download VLC and you will never have another problem again!!! That's a promise!
