He survived being on Shooting Stars in England, where they asked him what shape his balls are. I'm sure he'll survive this. Oh my. Is there footage of this moment anywhere?

Here's YouTube. (Part 1) ;)

I used to love watching Shooting Stars in the 90s. It was so silly. Vic Reeves described himself and Bob as "music hall dadaists" (music hall = vaudeville). There's an interview with Vic and Bob here. I think the 90s episodes were better than some of the later ones, although I'd have to watch them again to be sure. Re: Wetten Dass, what a weird coincidence that the host is called Gottschalk, the same as the New Orleans composer Louis Moreau Gottschalk, whose music was the inspiration for Litanie des Saints, the first track on Dr John's Goin' Back to New Orleans.

He said seven. I stand corrected (but my point over odd numbers is still valid.) :) The amount of knowledge I gather here about HL's private I shouldn't know about is getting me slightly nervous....

At least we know why it's so easy for him to limp on House. If it weren't for this tape I would have thought it was just because his canes are all a few inches too short for him. (It's also available on the Archive.)

Hugh's other music (also includes some of the blues stuff): http://www.reverbnation.com/londonlaurie There's stuff from Jeeves & Wooster, House, some previously unpublished piano stuff, etc. It's great!

Here's YouTube. (Part 1) ;) Many thanks for the link, Zumi!! Not sure how I missed this. I'm also not sure that Hugh could look any more uncomfortable than he did when first introduced on this.

Now I do wonder whether his dog has 7 testicles as well. He did say that his looked the same as those of his dog. Them poor boys. PS: Now I remember that he also mentioned Thomas who felt like having 7 testicles as well in The Gun Seller.

Poeia- 04-07-2011

No, he said his dog's testicles were the same size as his. He didn't say anything about quantity.

Facebook page for Hugh's other music (also includes some of the blues stuff): https://www.facebook.com/LondonLaurie (like it) takes you to here: http://www.reverbnation.com/londonlaurie to play the music There's stuff from Jeeves & Wooster, House, some previously unpublished piano stuff, etc. It's great! I really like the piano version of "How To Save a Life."

riverflow22- 04-07-2011

I really like the piano version of "How To Save a Life." Me too. I also really liked "Rule the World" http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_4429550 Does anyone know the source of these two? Has he played them somewhere publicly before?

Facebook page for Hugh's other music (also includes some of the blues stuff): There's stuff from Jeeves & Wooster, House, some previously unpublished piano stuff, etc. It's great! Nice! I bought the Jeeves & Wooster original soundtrack on CD about two or three years ago. I paid around 300 USD for that only to find that the album got released on iTunes shortly after. That was money well spent...

Interesting pieces. Wonder if they are demos or something. Thanks for the links!

No, he said his dog's testicles were the same size as his. He didn't say anything about quantity. You do know even more worse things than I do. Shame on you, Poeia! :D

At least we know why it's so easy for him to limp on House. If it weren't for this tape I would have thought it was just because his canes are all a few inches too short for him. (It's also available on the Archive.) I am looking for something supporting this but I still can't find it. Am I dumb or deaf? Could you tell me where he gives us a hint (like min. of the track on YouTube or something like that)? Please?
