Tonica Scheweppes commercials of 2008 are newly on You Tube. Maybe it's just me, but I haven't seen this one.
Tónica Schweppes y Hugh Laurie - Un punto amargo es sexy 5
No idea what he's saying after "me pega?"...but sure, Hugh is sexy! :D
(edited to erase the link for FOX all star party video as it's no longer on You Tube.)
Hate to say it but the ladies' dresses look uglier than anything, especially Olivia's. Holy cow Shocked
Go Fug Yourself had Annalynne McCord (aka Drunkface aka Naomi from 90210) wearing the very same dress as Olivia awhile back. I don't think it's completely hideous and Olivia has a great figure, but....
I think Hugh looks fantastic with the closely cropped hair. Yum.
I'm glad some people like the boot camp look. I don't. :(
I guess it's permanent too, and not just for the mental hospital stay, since he appeared like this at the TCA event and they are working on the 4th episode by now.
Oh, I dunno. I don't think anything with House is permanent, at least hairstyle-wise. Maybe he grows back his beard and keeps the short hair for a while and then goes back to longer hair and scruff leter on in the season. I've gotten used to the short hair: at heart, I'm a fan of the longer styles but this one suits his character, shorn of sanity, his profession, his former life and trying for a new start in life, it makes sense (in a sort of symbolic way) to me.
The E! Fox TCA party clip is on my site. That was the only Fox TCA coverage I saw on the infotainment shows last night, though Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight both have videos up on their websites. Anything TCA related I have found/will find ends up
on my S6 news page.
HL Riding without a helmet?Laurie motored through a gaggle of TV critics on the Fox lot the other day as they were walking in a knot to go visit the Dollhouse.
"I didn't realize who I was riding through," Laurie told me. "I just saw a lot of people, and, of course, I averted my gaze, which, of course, you shouldn't do on a motorcycle, either. That's probably more dangerous than not wearing a helmet."
He was just puttering around the lot, Laurie said. "Of course, I would wear a helmet on the highway, and take every reasonable safety precaution, and I would advise young people to do the same."

Lots of those critics tweeted about that incident. They seemed tickled to have seen Laurie.

I think he looks sort of monkish (almost complete with natural tonsure :)). Or knight templar-ish, if you prefer.
Oooh, that's exactly right marykir. I can easily see him as either. Maybe even as a dour, conflicted King Arthur. Screenwriters, take note!

I intensely dislike the short haircut because it makes House look too tough and scary looking for my taste, but I love your thoughts on it, Boffle. It makes me feel better about the severe haircut. It doesn't take much imagination to think of the "Hallelujah" words, "She tied you to a kitchen chair, she broke your throne, she cut your hair."
And now that song will be stuck in my head for the rest of the day. :not listening:
Perhaps the military looking hairstyle remains in place during House's period of reflection and while he is trying to get his license back. Once that happens, the real Greg House will re-emerge along with the trademark scruff and disheveled look.

God I hope so. Add me to the list of those who favor long hair vs. short. I really can't stand it so short, but Boffle you put things into a nice perspective :)
It's interesting because with most TV characters their mental and emotional unraveling would be reflected by showing them rumpled and unshaven, not caring about their appearance.
Since House is normally sporting wrinkled shirts and scruff maybe the short hair is part of the visual for his break down.
One good thing about the short hair is that they're not trying to cover up Arthur. Maybe they'll stop gluing things to his head even if it gets a little longer later in the season.
It seems David Shore is going to be producing a remake of the Rockford Files. Guess who his first choice would be to play Jim Rockford? Too bad he's otherwise engaged.

I"m wondering if anyone knows where I can get the gorgeous tee shirt (black with blue graphic) that Hugh wore when he performed Such a Night with BFTV last year. I love the shirt and that performance and, well... :-) You can see it
here.
