Happy 1st Birthday, HHoW! Thanks everyone for all your help in making this board so great. It's been quite a year, hasn't it? We opened this thread today for your comments about our first year, thoughts on how the board is going, any additions and changes you'd like to see, etc. Here's a chance to express to us your HHoW Dreams, Hopes and Aspirations. This thread will only be open for 24 hours, so don't lolly gag! ;-)

Wow... well, as far as I can tell, this place is great, and absolutely my favorite addiction. Almost as good as Vicodin. :D The only thing that gets me is when the discussions get too personal and heated, but there's no way that you guys can really prevent that, and I think y'all do a pretty good job of nipping it in the bud when it does come up. Maybe we should have a discussion on what exactly constitutes personal attacks, as it seems occasionally some posters have hard time differentiating between "personal" and "non-personal" opinions. Or possibly we already have that somewhere, and I just never took the time to look. :roll: Also, is there any way we can open up live episode posts? You know, a place to freak out together as the episode goes on? We could have a east-coast feed and a west-coast feed, if needed. Or would we potentially crash the server with our "squeeing"? :lol: ETA: T-shirts. We need t-shirts. One side saying "All hail the NPH" and the other side saying "AGA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!1"

Have to say I'm more of a lurker than anything else - but I call in here at least once a day for my Hugh/House fix. You have some great discussions and some fabulous contributors. Long may you all keep up the good work. Happy Birthday!

Wow, I can't believe it's been a full year to the day since I was wishing my beloved David Duchovny a happy birthday in the old Hizzy place and wondering if it was on-topic given the rash of warnings handed out. And then like a ray of sunlight...HHOW. This is probably the best House board on the internets. Good job moderators!

I love HHOW! I was also in at the beginning - the 16th person to register, I've just checked - and I've visited every day since, apart from when internetless on holidays. Happy Birthday to us all and a HUGE thanks to all the mods! :clap:

I love HHOW. You guys are great. I know I'm in the minority on some issues, but I never feel hesitant about posting an opinion that differs from the majority around here since I know we all love the show and are respectful to each other. That really says something. Tolerance, acceptance and passion as well as insight and humor: excellent! And heeeyoooge thanks to the very excellent mods who are always on top of things, keep the lights on and share the love. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US ALL, HHOW! And may we whine yet more these years to come! :D

I can't believe it's been a year either. Happy Birthday! Absolutely the best House board on the net, hands down. I'm here every day too. I never thought I'd be able to break my addiction to "that other place", but I quickly found a home here, and could never go back there again. I only regret I missed the first 2 weeks you guys were in existence cause I didn't know. It's so nice to be able to talk about Stephen Fry or Rowan Atkinson on the Hugh thread and not fear you're going to get a warning for going off topic. Congratulations and thank you to all the mods for the tremendous work that you do to make this such a great place to visit.
