I really enjoy visiting the forum and reading the latest posts. Perhaps I will even start contributing (when I have the time and something worthwhile to post!).
Suggestion about the mod notes: How about just putting Mod Note: in bold and the rest of the note not in bold? Then it would stand out well enough but not seem over the top.

Even though I wasn't part of 'that other place' and had never been a member of a forum before, I joined up since this was a board that was really created by fans. I'm usually a lurker, but when I do post I never feel nervous about it, I know the replies are going to be kind and polite.
I don't have any suggestions, but I do like the idea someone else (sorry, can't remember who) had of having threads during the episodes.

You folks have done a great job. The other place only gets a fraction of the posters they used to have, and the official site is rife with complaints about the show and has too many arguments about characters.
But there are no major problems here. I think it is because all those who were disheartened with the other boards came here for intelligent discussion, great humor, and civil behavior.
Congratulations on this wonderful anniversary! I have checked in on the lively discussions here every day for the past year and have always found that my enjoyment of this great show was enhanced by the conversation and insights I found here.
I am frequently in the minority in my interpretations of many aspects of the show (and so I usually just lurk), but I am happy to join the majority in offering my huzzahs to the mods for creating and maintaining such a unique gift to the fandom.
HHOW is the New York Times of boards, frequented and led by literate, literary, clever, smart, funny, silly, brilliant people of excellent taste!

P.S. It's the only board I've ever had to (or wanted to) go find a dictionary or other reference material to catch up!

Congrats and ditto with what everyone else said. I've found the mods to be exceedingly fair and intelligent - I want to single out Poeia in particular as a real sweetheart who has gone above and beyond to help me out!

I very much appreciate the fact that this board is so polite, well structured, well moderated (with understanding and a little bit of leeway for off-topicness as long as it doesn't get out of hand), populated by people whose opinion I like to read and quick with answers to urgent questions.
