Oh. Good. God. Hugh. In a Vicodin bath. Wow. Thank goodness for dedicated props people. I, for one, am very appreciative. And how adorable is it that you can make out the tan line of his wedding band? And some of that chalk isn't erased completely and, omg, I hate that. *Ahem* All better.

I know everybody does this because everyone gets excited and forgets, but could people restrict to posting only actual spoilers in this thread. Otherwise people get all excited there's a new one and you don't want an angry spoiler whore on your tail. See, look - there I've done it now too. I've made someone cry. But just in case anyone missed them: on the last page there are lots of new hi-res promo shots.

S4 spoilers re the ducklings. Interviews JS/OE/JMo did reported on Kristin a couple of weeks ago. Posting because not everyone may have seen this. http://www.eonline.com/gossip/kristin/detail/index.jsp?uuid=41facca6-4f7e-4c13-854c-162ac9f8dc2e

Something I hadn't seen before, in the August 20th TV Guide article on JMo and The Murder of Princess Diana. Morrison definitely will return, albeit in what she hints might be a different role. "We can only argue with House for so long!" she says. To stir things up, the producers have announced several new cast members. "It's going to open things up for us to come back in a different capacity," Morrison adds. "And then, as far as I know, Jesse and I are going to be in different departments, so we're consulting based on our expertise."

Tidbits from the 'sneak peak' article in the Aug. 27th issue of TV Guide (sorry, scanner is absolutely buried...): <*>The survivor thing plays out over 8 episodes. David Shore: "It's classic House sadistic behavior." <*>People get eliminated every week. Olivia Wilde: "we half expect Ryan Seacrest to pop out and say, 'If you like No. 13, text 13 to...'" <*>At one point House fires the entire back of the room, except one woman he thinks is hot. (quote from Peter Jacobson) <*>Edi Gathegi is duckling #18, and plays a black Mormon. <*>Peter Jacobson is #39 and plays a Park Avenue plastic surgeon hoping to bring fresh meaning to his life. <*>Olivia Wilde has long brown hair. Can't see her # in the photo. House can't quite figure her character out. <*>Kal Penn is #6. His character thinks the game show thing is cool. (quote from David Shore) <*>David Shore: "We're adding another couple actors to the regular cast and we haven't figured out who they'll be yet, so we figured we'll do it this way." From a separate blurb about Jen & Jesse: Cameron & Chase won't share as much screen time this season since they're consulting in different parts of the hospital.

Another new ad shown Wednesday night, more funny than informative: http://www.marykir.com/hl/house/s4promos.htm#ad22Aug Screencaps for the new scenes are at: http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y279/marykir/HL/TV/House/Season4/Promos/20070822-FoxTues/

Oh, there's a great promo they just showed during the football game on Fox which explains a bit more about the scene in the classroom with the guitar. House is tuning the guitar while explaining that this is the longest job interview the room full of people will experience and explaining more about how the survivor thing will work. His end line: "Wear a cup!" Edit: now online http://www.marykir.com/hl/house/s4promos.htm#ad23Aug screencaps: http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y279/marykir/HL/TV/House/Season4/Promos/20070823-S4E01/

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1081396/fullcredits#cast Imdb has more details up about the s4 premier - Conor Dubin is playing a character named Ben Prosner. From this photo Conor Dubin I wonder if he may be the same person in this promo screenshot http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y279/marykir/HL/TV/House/Season4/Promos/20070821-S4E01/?action=view&current=preview01.jpg The listing still states Peter Blake is the writer & Deran Sarafian as director. Interestingly both JS & OE as appearing in the ep, but not JMo (which jives with her earlier interview that she does not appear in the premier).

From TV Guide: Question: Is there any hope of House getting a new love interest in the new season?— Sophia Ausiello: Depends on how he feels about fast women, because there's a speedy one headed to Princeton-Plainsboro. An upcoming patient-of-the-week story will revolve around a Danica Patrick-esque NASCAR driver. In a separate episode, House will tend to a patient with a craniofacial deformity à la Eric Stoltz in Mask.

From tvguide's fall preview (here http://www.tvguide.com/special/fallpreview07/returning4a.aspx) House Premiere: Tuesday, September 25, 9 pm, FOX Where we left off: The way things ended on House last season was either the bravest move by a group of television writers or the dumbest. Season 3 had been the best yet with spellbinding drama. House went to jail! Case and Cameron hooked up! Dave Matthews guest-starred! But as the Fox series signed off for summer, three key members of House's team had been ixnayed. Dr. Foreman (Omar Epps) and Dr. Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) resigned and Dr. Chase (Jesse Spencer) was unceremoniously let go. Now comes the morning after, which for House (Hugh Laurie) traditionally begins with strong coffee and a Vicodin or two. What's next: House opens Season 4 short of staff and growing more unpopular by the hour. His support team has dwindled to Drs. Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) and Wilson (Robert Sean Leonard), who are stretched to the max, especially after a building collapse brings an onslaught of injured victims in the first episode. House hires a new team, specifically to find three new docs, and makes 40 of them jump through hoops. Meanwhile, Cameron has been reassigned to the ER and Chase now works in surgery. Foreman's the last to return. A few episodes in, he gets canned from his fancy job at Mercy Hospital and comes crawling back. By midseason, House will have two or three new staff members, which means a whole new set of buttons to push and feelings to hurt.

saara_zaara- 09-02-2007

Fox's Fall Preview show tonight featured, among other things, a new House promo, an expanded version of the Dancing with Myself promo shown previously, It included more Wilson ("You're seeing a patient; can I watch?") more Cuddy ("hire a team") and more janitor guy (wearing a stethoscope?). I'll post a link as soon as marykir has it up, unless someone else has it sooner. This is an alert so West Coast viewers can tune in to the show tonight. EDIT - ITA & thanks, blackmare! My hearing's not what it was ;D

blackmare- 09-02-2007

Actually that line of Wilson's (which I loved!) was: "It's been a while since a patient took a swing at you; can I watch?" I can't wait to see what that was all about!
