I guess it's OT with regards to the show
Well, it doesn't really have anything to do with House in the media, but feel free to discuss it on the Hugh Laurie thread. I'm sure you'll find alot of people there who have read it.
Drat. David Morse did not win the Guest Actor Emmy.
John Goodman did.
The TV Guide Fall Preview program (that started a few minutes ago) has a segment on House about 6 minutes into the program. It is mostly stuff we've seen before, but ends with a few more seconds of the scene *spoiler* with House playing guitar in his office while Cuddy is there *spoiler* from S4E1 posted on the Fox House page and Yahoo TV. The preview is being repeated later tonight and Monday, probably later in the week also.
I also noticed that the Fox Fall Preview is being shown on TV Guide Network Monday afternoon, if you missed it when it was on Fox.
hughesblues, on another forum, posted
this link.. To which my reaction was "oh my."
ETA: Here's a
permalink so it won't slide down the page. (In Touch doesn't seem to have a search function.)
that picture is adorable.
did anyone see that when it initially came through on the google alerts and note that they originally had grunberg listed as playing a character named "mark"? i don't know why that bugged me (especially since they fixed it) but it did. i mean, how hard it is to proof something before publishing? it's not like it was a message board, it's a website for a magazine.

Oh my, indeed! Thanks for posting a link to that pic, Poeia. I stand firm in my belief that more men need to start wearing fedoras (if they can carry them off)!
I need a full screen copy of that pic!!!!! :)
I just went back and looked at that pic again. I swear my crush is on Gregory House, not Hugh Laurie. I don't fantasize about HL. I'm delighted that he's happily married... But there's something about that picture that makes me want to lick his neck.
Did I just say that?
Saturday. British American Film and Television
5th Annual Primetime Emmy Nominees Tea Party
Star Count: Every British, Australian, NewZealand and Canadian TV player. Think Hugh Laurie, Jesse Spencer, Ricky Gervais, Simon Cowell, Kiefer Sutherland, Rachel Griffiths and more.
Hope there will be photographs emerging from that.
And don't forget to look at HL's picture further up the page, next to the blurb about the TV Guide Emmy Party (at which BFTV will be playing again).
I was flipping through the new issue of Vanity Fair (Nicole Kidman cover) and they had a full page ad for House.
They airbrushed HL so much he looks like he's 12!!!! I mean, hello!, House shouldn't look like he skipped clinic duty to get Botox. HL is gorgeous with his wrinkles. Fox shouldn't be trying to Ryan Seacrest his face. Yuck.
Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner, so I can't share the horror. I noticed the airbrushing in a few other print ads for Season 4 as well.
Oooh, the BAFTA event looks good.
Also don't forget, JS is guesting with TBFTV & is doing a showcase song with Teri Hatcher on vocals (I forget the song title, but its a country tune & he's going to be playing the fiddle), so I bet there's a lot of coverage of that.
and even though i'm always surprised that they don't do more real coverage of their own party (rather than just have kimberly caldwell stand around making goofy faces for forty five minutes), i think that the tv guide channel will most definitely show footage of that song. i mean, BFTV is nice and they're gonna get coverage period, but when you have BFTV with teri hatcher on stage you're probably gonna use that instead of just the band by themselves. which, hey...fine by me. if teri hatcher (whom i have no problem with these days) means i get a glimpse of hugh, jesse, greg and jamie then bring on the teri hatcher.
So they're gonna play at les deux? Cool. If any of y'all go to that, feel free to report!
Love that pic too, with his long legs crossed like that. Love that long, lean bod of his. And the hat is very blues brothers-esque. Cute.
I was flipping through the Fall 2007 issue of
Bitch magazine (it's a zine featuring a feminist response to pop culture) and got a real surprise! There is a short interview with Lisa Edelstein by Bitch co-founder Andi Zeisler.
I went to the website but there isn't a link. Bitch is always a great read and I urge people to seek it out.
I put a small quote from the article in the Cuddy & Lisa Edelstein threads
