I'm really confused by that article showing up today. It's old. It's the Vogue interview. Why, I wonder, did MSNBC decide to upload it and put it out as a new interview. I was excited to see it show up in the google alert before realizing that, hang on, I'd read it months ago. Not that it's not a good article. It's a great article. I'm just puzzled by why it's being "repurposed".

It's the Vogue interview. Okay, I noticed that they had a Vogue photo shoot with it for the pic, but I wasn't familiar with the interview so didn't connect that this was a re-tread. Its a bit odd that msn of all things would re-print a Vogue piece, but if that's the origin I've no doubt its in order to capitalize on traffic wrt HL & the show given the premier.

That's funny that you mentioned that...right as I was reading the post a few minutes ago over my shoulder I heard Mark McGrath on my television saying "coming up next, a House call with Hugh Laurie!". So, tonight's show has a segment on it as well. I have no idea if it's the same as what's online.

I just taped it. Hugh was adorable talking about how, in this day and age, kids leave home at 18 but they're back again at 22 because it's hard to get the laundry done and make the rent. But I laughed out loud when they interviewed JM and and JS about their future positions. When they were talking to Jesse, there was a big red banner at the bottom of the screen saying "Omar Epps, Actor." I don't think they really look that much alike. ETA: I really do know how to spell "Jesse."

Hugh said House was like their parent, albeit an abusive parent. I sure hope Hugh is in tune with what House thinks because considering himself a parent would work really well to kill Ham as a ship and endorse the House/Chase father-son thing. Jesse said that the new team would be attempting to use the old team to figure out House. Jennifer said Cameron comes back in more of a leadership role.

The Extra clip online is the whole segment about House/BFTV, but there was also a little bit before the segment about the Fox casino party that showed some of the cast. E! News and The Daily 10 both had little bits about House tonight. Every infotainment show has talked about Keifer today. He and Patricia Heaton/Kelsey Grammer were about the only people from the Fox party who got a mention. Seattle's Fox morning news mentioned Keifer's arrest 3 times this morning (as "breaking news"...). Maybe they will redeem themselves and play a House interview tonight. Though we aren't nearly as big a market as New York :)
