Am I right? No one should ever take acting too seriously.
The srs thespians I know are pretty serious about acting on opening night. About as much fun as being stabbed to death with spoons are actors on opening night before curtain.
It's a stressful job.

I know. The last job I had involved spending hours on end in an uncomfortable chair, being shouted at by old people down a phone line, whilst also being shouted at by a small man with an affinity for swearing vehemently at everyone in sight. Stressful? Yes. Craft? Not at all.
I say this all as someone who is constantly appearing in theatre productions.

The news stand version of TV Guide's Sep 24th issue has pictures of Band from TV at the Emmy party, including one of Hugh playing piano with a smaller insert of Jesse playing fiddle.
The subscription version of the Oct 1st issue has the exact same pictures. And (I think) the same column about the party.

Okie dokie I shouldn't have said "the craft"...I guess I just meant the process or whatever he goes through when he's acting out a character. Hugh doesn't take himself too seriously but he does seem to take whatever he's doing seriously...craft or no craft.
Anyway I'm gonna take a break from this conversation for a while cause honestly...it's making me want some instant mac and cheese for dinner...which might not make any sense to some of you and might gross others out completely but what can I say? I'm that desperate for food.

I think all the TV Guide pictures are off WireImage or Getty. If my scanner weren't buried 4 inches deep, I'd scan the page. But it is :)

Jennifer, Omar, Lisa and at least four of the newbies were all at the Fox Casino Party last night. Has anyone seen good pics posted anywhere? So far the only HiRes pics from the evening that I've seen have been of Emily Deschanel. Not that I'm complaining about *that*, but I'd like to see some gigantic, pretty pictures of my "House" people.
eta: it looks like all of the newbies but olivia were there. There are a ton of pics of Lisa, Jen and Omar out there, but so far the only decently sized, non tagged ones are here:

We have a very strict spoiler policy here -- until the episode airs, everything is a spoiler. That way we keep it good even for the people who won't watch the commercials because they want everything to be a surprise.
It's actually a little frustrating for me. I'm willing to watch commercials and I'm fine with "big picture" info but I don't want to know any details. Still, it's better to err on the side of caution. And people like me can go to the spoiler thread, and skim for links without reading anything.
Of course, it's only going to be a spoiler for another 8 hours.
