Unless I'm just not hanging out in the right places, I haven't seen the last few pics of Hugh up on Getty right now anywhere else. If someone's seen them sans tags, do share. If no one else has seen them, run over to Getty, plug in Hugh's name and you'll get a few new ones. There are a couple of BFTV that I haven't seen as well as one of Hugh and Olivia Wilde and *two* of Hugh and Antonio Villaraigosa. Those last two were both puzzling and funny. For those in LA he is obviously your mayor. For those outside of LA who thinks the name rings a bell but can't place who he is: he's the guy sleeping with the hot telemundo reporter. {g}

Oh dear. The close-up (#76802642) with Villaraigosa looks about as enjoyable as a root canal.

Interesting that Getty thinks Hugh plays with the Band On TV. Nice.

A very kind person with wireimage access sent me the two with the good mayor. Since I was uploading those, I went ahead and saved the tagged version with Olivia as well. Enjoy. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b141/amysusanne/hugh%20laurie/parties%20and%20set%20pics/76813455.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b141/amysusanne/hugh%20laurie/parties%20and%20set%20pics/7.jpg http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b141/amysusanne/hugh%20laurie/parties%20and%20set%20pics/3.jpg FYI: I'm also posting links to some BFTV pics in the music thread.

Thanks for sharing these pictures, Amysusanne! I'm in a puddle of drool...

Hey, Olivia! Your dress is falling off!

I apologize for having linked to interviews with spoilers without a warning on the previous page. When I had actually watched the clips and realized, I wanted to come back here, but the site wouldn't load for hours. Sorry 'bout that. I'm glad you guys have mercy for the inexperienced. A gentle reminder here works loads better than getting a temper tantrum back at the other place. Thanks for the pics, amysusanne.

We all suck :wink:

http://www.comics.com/comics/hedge/archive/hedge-20070918.html This seems to be the place for this, pop culture refs to House abound

Taiga- 09-19-2007

It drives me crazy that the people at Fox do not understand what a Houseism is. They should be those perfect lines that everyone wishes they'd said at some point. They are not every insult that has ever come out of House's mouth (or every line of dialogue from the show.) Yep. To me a Houseism is when House says something that's shockingly cruel but makes you say "I was just thinking that!". S1 was full of them, now he's just cruel unfortunately.

A reminder if you get TV Guide Network, The 411 usually does a segment on the person/show on the cover of the next issue of TV Guide magazine. So there might be a Hugh/House segment on the new episode Thursday. TV Watercooler's new episodes are Fridays and they sometimes mention the cover story also (probably more likely now they are Friday instead of Monday...).

While waiting for the server here to respond (grrrr), I was checking out "another" site. Someone there posted a link to this Interview with Greg Grunberg Relevant parts: Hugh Laurie – it's kind of predictable he would represent the British invasion and Joe Cocker and that kind of role. He has such a passion for soul music and rhythm and blues. So he will find music that shocks us. His suggestions are so smart. My idea for a great song for our band is one that makes you feel like you're walking through a party and you know everybody at the party and you're just kind of like “Hey, what's happening?” Just that feeling of “Everything's good. We're celebrating.” That's what every song should represent, in my mind. We have a couple of songs that Hugh has suggested that are just shockers. “What? He said to play that song?” And then we play it, it's pretty good. So he represents that. The newest member of the band is Jesse Spencer from House. He's going to be a permanent member of the band. He plays the fiddle and it's great. The guy's unbelievably talented and no one knows.

Hi, Poeia, (yes, stupid server), btw, amysuzanne posted photos from that event for us, if anyone's interested you can see them & discussion of JS joining the band permanently on the JS thread.

I just watched a new clip at Yahoo's House page. It's called 'House is a comedic procedural'. Beware spoilers if you go and watch. It's a mix between episode clips, snippets of the b-roll and the cast interviews (which were linked to earlier). There are three new scenes in there. At least I didn't know them. If this is old news ignore me. :wink: ETA: The same clip is also up on the TVguide House page here (season 4 preview) Edited again to remove a spoiler. Sorry, I misread the spoiler policy.

I just watched a new clip at Yahoo's House page. It's called 'House is a comedic procedural'. Beware spoilers if you go and watch. For some reason, I can't get the Yahoo clips to play. :x everything else works. But on the same page, under gossip, Ted Casablanca shared this tidbit.... :wink: You know, that nonsense about Oprah and Stedman breaking up. Didn't hear? Oh yeah, made the rounds right before the Emmys, just after the Television Academy decided not to go with Hugh Laurie as host. (Even though there was quite the commotion from certain high factions dying to have the dude, alas, no go—wonder if it was Hugh's fairly unknown talents in the drag department that scared folks? Nah...)
