http://www.tvguide.com/ask-ausiello/house/080130-11 Ausiello on House Question: There have been rumors floating around that Jesse Spencer and Jennifer Morrison have been reduced to "guest cast" status on House. — Debra Ausiello: Not true. So, does Ausiello have it right this time?

angelcat2865- 01-30-2008

Well, they are still in the opening credits if that means anything.

Gail- 01-31-2008

He has it right till episode 12. After that we'll see. Their characters have already gotten the guest star status that's for sure.

I'm not sure if this should go here, or in Movies or where, so Mods, move as you see fit. Fallout over Heath Ledger SAG Party Video It's an - is interesting the right word? - article about airing that damning Heath Ledger video. His PR company has encouraged several other powerhouse firms to speak out against any entertainment program that shows the clip. It's suggested that the unspoken fact is that the firms would bar these programs from having access to their clients - Hugh and Mira Sorvino are on the long list of celebs that entails. Though the motivation is clearly the PR folks wish to protect their valuable properties, I sure wouldn't mind if the side benefit was that we didn't have to see some of these benighted individuals publicly self-destruct across the front pages. Hmm...

Over at the other place, DJB has a video blog "This Week in Television" in which he fanboys over the return of "House." Said video include his own lupus joke: "Why did Lupus cross the road?" "Because it wasn't Lupus." :)

Anne looks gorgeous. IA. I just wish her bra wasn't on display for two of her outfits.

Hey, our own websites count as media, right? In which case: House fans raising money for charity in honor of RSL's birthday! (Yes, if you're on any LiveJournal comms you're probably aware of us by now. Get used to it: we'll be reasserting ourselves in any way we can think of to keep spreading the word. :)) Feel free also to post any questions either here or hop over to the RSL thread in People & Characters. So far we've raised $850 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS!

TV Guide Network's Hollywood 411 has a short segment on House tonight. It's mostly taken from the EPK episode clips and interview posted on spoilertv. And they've granted Hugh an Emmy. There's a repeat at midnight eastern/9p pacific - the segment is about 15 minutes into the show. I'm beginning to wonder if the fandom and the media inhabit parallel universes in which Hugh has won different awards :)

DrSpaceman- 02-01-2008

I wonder how many invisible Emmys it takes to get a real one? Also, The Onion AV Club has their review of "It's a Wonderful Lie" up. As usual, it's worth it just for the comments: So, campic0 and tippy cup, what you're saying if that you get off on cancerous milk extracted from mutated leg tissue being squirted into the mouth of an unprepared and unwilling prepubescent girl who is watching her mother die? Really? I can't belive there are two people on these message boards who are both into cancerogenulactoaichmostomepedophilia.

There are apparently going to be several special House ads during the Super Bowl. Not that you couldn't all have guessed there would be, but I stumbled over the following on a German TV show site. I'm sure someone could dig up the original announcement... I'm too lazy to do more than translate: In an ad for the series "House M.D." Hugh Laurie, as Dr. Gregory House, will take Vicodin, accompanied by the song "Rehab" by Amy Winehouse. In another spot he will play the theme of "Fox NFL" on an electric guitar. In a third song various NFL-coaches will announce Dr.House in a profuse way and commend him. We know the first one. And I guess the second must be what marykir so kindly uploaded. :)

Both the others have already shown up as well. The last one sounds a lot better on paper, but the guitar one is cute. edited: duh, you said that the second was uploaded by marykir. that's the one they're talking about. the third one has also popped up several times.
