Ooh, lurking I remember when I used to be like that. Then I started posting on some mailing lists, on my fave gossipboards(am the #1 poster there now...) and somewhere down the line I went posting happy. I might need rehab for it, since that's the hot new thing to do, place to be.

I'm birdwoman on TWOP, and like Poeia, I'm a female in my early 50s and live with a pet parrot (a female named Charlie). I've been a trial lawyer for a long time, a government yick, and a resident of a red red state. I'm so glad you set up this forum! Couldn't stand the Nazi mentality (is that too strong?) over on the Other site. I love House and all its various fan incarnations; I don't really ship but who knows? Skinner is my homeboy, I have butchered chickens and roofed a house, was once in a ska band (trombone and vocals), am a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gays, enjoy The Great Outdoors, and can stick my tongue to my nose. Am 57, retired Navy, unfortunately live in one of the red states live in a house run by 5 dogs. Do occasional 1st reader stuff for Kidsnurse and spend quite a bit of time reading House fanfic, not interested in any other fan communities, will probably be on here quite a bit.
