Hello, all! I've been around the House boards for quite some time. I lurk at the site that shall not be named but never post. Been a Fry & Laurie fan since I first saw A Bit Thereof. My Best Friend's brother sent me the EW Promo Disc for the series premier and the rest was downhill from there. As Mr. C so kindly puts it, "Hon? You're not at all compulsive but MAN are you obsessive...." 8) Anyhoodle, I am an avid fan of DIYSheep's writing and found this site via her LJ. I immediately boogied over and registered. Whee! Personal introductory stuff? I flew jets for the USAF for 23 years (retired out of the National Guard) and am an aviation attorney. Have an MA in history and attended undergrad at a really cool Ivy League University that has a really cool Teaching Hospital. :wink: What I love most about the series "House" is the witty writing and the close attention to detail. I'm a Sherlockian and get a big kick out of catching the references...the obvious and the subtle. What I love most about the people who comprise the cast and crew is the evident joy they get making the show. So much of what I know (general information) about Laurie has been incorporated into House and that's fun to see. (The music, the t-shirts & jeans, the motorcycle, the athletics after the Ketamine treatment, the rapier sense of humour....I could go on for hours.) Although I am much less certain, I have an idea there is a lot of Robert Sean Leonard in Wilson, too. Jesse Spencer is a wonder to watch perform whether he's front and center in the scene or not...he's always in character and part of the action. Well, it's certainly nice to be here. I look forward to the conversations!

Hello everyone! This is great seeing all these old names here - it's like joining TWoP all over again, but without the corporate propaganda and whatnot! DIY Sheep! TrooperCam! Hail the Random! And everyone else I remember as well!!!!!!!! Yay! Well, I'm arizonamyrie at TWoP, and I had gone "missing" from the House boards for awhile. Then, I went back to college to become a nurse practitioner this summer and have been "missing" from TWoP in general. It will be awhile before I'm no longer a student (a good five years probably). Horray for professional students! I'm definitely looking forward to that DDx thread - is Vijay around for that? What about Silja? And we need to get March301 as well.

Awesome! I can't wait. How can they moderate the Meet Market over there? Isn't that thread supposed to be "topic free?" That just doesn't make sense. And, I have errands to run, but if nothing is posted in the DDx thread by this evening, I'll start a case. I'm so happy to see all of you again!

Thank you for the welcome! It really is fun to see all of these familiar screen names (especially of the fanfic writers I enjoy reading so much) even though I'm probably a stranger by name. As I mentioned, I lurk. (Although I have touched base with DIYSheep and Simple_Man "in person" before. Mostly to gush over their amazing talent. Shoop to feed my need for laughter and SM to feed my need for House/Wilson. Yes, I'm one of ~those~ who sees mad, wild chemistry between our two heroes.)
