Hello Sick People! The Introduction Thread

Fiddy, you're right about waiting - zaara knows I've been concerned about what might be planned after the Topicality thread issues, & asked about some legal issues, which I just posted comments on over in the mod questions area. I really do think this place will grow just fine on its own by personal referrals without blasting it over TWoP & rubbing the mods faces in it (which is just bad for so many reasons). Topic? Who's up next for an intro?

My current point of distinction is that not only did I not get warned for some recent posts I made at TWoP, I actually had a couple of very old warns removed by the mods there today. Very strange, but a little too late. Thrilled to be here instead! How does that work? Do they build up like demerit points -- X warnings and you are banned? I can just see Nikita with a black book where she keeps careful note of every slight and rebellion, rubbing her hands together as people get closer to a ban. I've never been very active in the 3 threads she targeted in "Topicality" so by the time it became apparent that she's a bit batshit crazy, I was already pretty much down to "here's my episode ranking vote for today," "here's a nice fic I found" and "thanks for the info on HL."

I only got one warning from Nikita right after she started her reign of terror, but I've made some of the same type of OT posts in the last week and got no warnings for those. Maybe someone told her to take a chill pill

I love H/W. They are the first couple that I've ever slashed. Unless, of course, you count Beecher/Keller. But I didn't even know what slash was at that point. I just knew that two men = HOT. Hi, everyone. I'm Beth - bethctg at TWoP and at LJ. I did a lot of lurking at TWoP, and I'm hoping to post more often here. On LJ I dabble in fic-writing and icon-making, in lots of different fandoms. House and Wilson are my first slash pairing ever. "House vs. God" gets the credit for tipping me over into fandom - it's been a great ride. I'm a 36, live in New England, and am very happy to have this pleasant new place to visit. :)

Hi everybody. I'm Lully (or annalully in LJ). I'm from Brazil and it's the first time that I talk in this kind of forum - so I'm really, really nervous! Since English it's not my primary language there'll be a lot of mistakes. Please be patient! I used to lurking in TWOP but I never got my registration, so I know most of you from there and from the H/W Community in LJ. I'm 44 and I'm divorced. I have a cocker spaniel, her name is Thai, and she is adorable. I'm a former flight attendant and now I have a PR office with a friend of mine. She thinks that I work very hard, but really I spend most of my time reading H/W fanfic. Life is too short after all :wink:

Now, now. Nothing should stop you from reading these boards, even heart problems!! Welcome Lully!

I'm pretty sure blindness might be a bit of an obstacle, though...

It said TEMPORARY blindness. And I would get someone to read it to me. :)
