Hi. My name is Barbara also known (pretty much everywhere but FF.net and LJ) as sasmom. I still founder around TWOP, though the new mods are making it rather not so pleasant. I'm 52, live in the Chicago area. I am a singer and writer, have two kids (boy and girl--high school and university, respectively), a husband, a dog and a rabbit, though not necessarily in that order. Jimminy cricket, sasmom! IIRC we seldom agree about anything-House but we have an awful lot in common in RL! My given name is also Barbara, I'm 51, I like to sing and write (though I'm not very good at either) and have two kids also a boy and girl--though both mine are at university now). I know! It still aggrivates me because I swear my big intolerant comment was something like that's not how I define that but your opinion is no more or less valid than mine we just disagree. Hi I'm polanaise and I've been along time lurker over at TWOP. I'm 48 and live in Sheffield in the UK.I'm a Pharmacist and mum of 3. I started watching House because I'd watched everything that HL was in over the years and when I saw the UK ad "Hello sick people" I was intrigued. RSL had me with "he cares about me" in the pilot. That was it. I'd never really heard of slash before or read any sort of fanfiction , but the House/Wilson relationship has kept me hooked ever since. See you all in the HoYay thread

I think what threw me off was that someone else used to have eleven cats but has now gotten another one and so you now being extra cat instead of wildebeest which is a rather different kind of animal....I'll get it all straightened out eventually. She and I are in a race to see who can take in the most strays, I think. I had 6 cats and another showed up and I thought, "Great. Just what I need. An extra cat!" So her name is Extra. Then she had 4 kittens. All together I have 13 now. They're all spayed/neutered, but they keep falling from the sky or something.

Sheesh--and I thought I was the crazy cat lady (you know, the one on the Simpsons...) but I currently have only three and a stray kitten I am determined not to keep--but he's awfully sweet..... :cry: Of course there is Ole Yeller, Tiger, Simba, Zorro and several others who hang out and eat here but they are not my cats.... :roll:

I'm 15 and I live in the worst city in the world (conveniently located about three feet away from the New York/Canadian border, just to torture me). I occasionally write fic, I have a range of interesting and obscure medical problems, I act, and I have an unhealthy addiction to House/Wilson. Especially pr0n. I'm horrible.
