I thought the jackboot and the name made it the obvious sobriquet but I guess Darth works too. But then I've always had a soft spot for any power-mad, ruthless dictator who wins a debate by pounding on the table with his shoe...the similarities really worked for me. I was himmelblau on TWOP, but never posted enough to merit the attentions of the current regime, so therefore am not traumatized for life...at least, not yet. :lol: I was directed here by a friend, btw. Like sweet fern, I'm older (older than Hugh, *gasp!*)(Does that make me a perv? ) Lol, but I'm married, and, like sweet fern, have Indiana roots. I just have to say that this is exactly like my best friend from college's baby shower - I hadn't seen anyone there for ages, and then I walked in and recognized everyone. I introduced myself pages ago, but I didn't mention a few things. I'm 25, along with about three (plus) other people here. And, I'm a House addict (and it's not a problem). HtR - Teenage years (aka: adolescence) starts partway through puberty. So, if the plumbing works, or even is starting, you're pretty much a teenager.

I am a singer and writer, have two kids (boy and girl--high school and university, respectively), a husband, a dog and a rabbit, though not necessarily in that order. I'm an old (very) X-Phile; I watch very little TV, but I'm hopelessly addicted to House (character and show). Hello all. I'm Starling, starlingthefool or nyyyy on LJ, and have only ever lurked in TWOP. I'm twenty-two (just had my birthday last week, in fact), work in a big evil bookstore (that lets me borrow books for free, so it ain't all bad), and abuse parentheses in my spare time (obviously). I also write. Or try to, when my fickle muse is being agreeable. I live out in a smallish town near Seattle, Washington, and I'm still trying to get used to the rain. This is also the first message board I've ever joined. Eep.
