What ho, what ho! So excited to join this august community! Long-time Hugh Laurie fan, House fan since end of season 1, occasional poster at That Weird Other Place until I got kicked out (not even sure why), lurked around HHOW for quite some time before mustering up the courage to join. Looking forward to lots of interesting conversations!

Many of us ended up here for the same reason. Glad you found us (and I expect I'll see you in the Hugh Laurie thread.)

I darted in and out of here before I felt emboldened to join, myself. I (gasp!) don't read fan fiction and like to make up stupid stuff about the show, like potential House spin-offs and catchphrases. On another board I went off on Wilson "doing the strange" with the cafeteria lady. My mind is a weird neighborhood, but fun for the most part.

Welcome. Lucky you, being in Italy. You get to see the commercials with Hugh and Uma Thurman all the time. I'm jealous. We have a few Huddy fans here and can always use some more.

I ship them, I love their chemistry and way of being but I do have respect for any other ship existing or not.

Welcome, ladylil! I'm out of town right now, but my faithful cane is here with me (ugh). Maybe if I nickname it "Little Wackjob" I'll hate it less. At least I've been able to use my House-appropriated mad skills with it, like holding open elevator doors, pushing elevator buttons, using it to prop open swinging doors, etc. Unfortunately, the one real-life problem that NEVER happens to House is: accidentally knocking people on the back of the foot with the damn thing! This has been happening constantly. BTW, this is the first time I took it through an airport, and unlike House, they let me carry it onto the airplane. But it did take me a few minutes in security to realize I had to put it on the rolling luggage thing, rather than limping through the metal detector with it. Wow, I just found out I can only access this particular topic, none of the others, because I am using the hotel's computer. (I am too prehistoric to use a laptop.) Oh, well, here comes some even more serious House withdrawal!!! MOD NOTE: Please, I don't know how else to say this : Don't post back to back!!! It's not that hard to understand, is it? Really?

sorry for your cane but don't worry we're two! I've a cane too... unfortunately mine isn't so cool like House's one. But I use it it's 3 years so... I know how you feel!!! And knocking people, you'll get used and they will too. But sometimes it's cool when you right want to do that...I mean knocking people. It's wonderful above all, when you hate someone and you can knock them and it's all okay because... oh gosh you use a cane!!! That's beautiful! XD
