I was surprised to find that I really enjoyed the Stacy arc, especially "Hunting," "The Mistake," "Failure to Communicate," and "Need to Know." These episodes showcased the romantic inner nature of House while allowing us to see him a bit cowed, confused, nasty, bewitched, and in hot pursuit of a love object.
We also saw House in an ultimately futile pursuit of an unrecoverable past and we saw him working through the anger and sense of betrayal he had been carrying as a protective shield against engagement with the world for more than five years. A meaty dramatic arc and lots of great acting all around.

Watching in parallels Stacy'arc and actual season 7, I am happy that House is slowly turning with Cuddy into the same tender lover he seemed to be with Stacy. More guarded, more shy, but with the same pattern.
I would really love to see Stacy's reaction to this new relationship, even a tiny mention. But I don't think we will, alas..
