Do Your Research, People: Your Personal Canon
Do you have a theory about the show that you claim for yourself as canon, and will believe until it's clearly disproven on the show? Then share it with us! Two rules. One, only post what you really truly believe. It may be funny to say "I believe that House is a Time Lord", but it doesn't belong here (and if you truly believe it's the truth then honey, we need to talk). Two, no arguments with other posters unless their claims really truly contradict canon. "I believe that Cameron's never been married and completely made up the story about PDH" is out there, but theoretically possible. "I believe that Wilson is House's imaginary friend" has been disproven by canon unless everyone else is imagining him too. Now follow my example: I believe that House majored in chemistry as an undergrad.

I believe that Wilson staying in that hotel is a metaphor for him being in the closet and won't move out until he comes out.

I believe that House & Wilson have had a sexual relationship for the last 20 years and continue to this day (off screen during ad breaks etc).

I believe that Cuddy created the Department of Diagnostic Medicine to get House back into the game after the infarction. (For those who are crying "But that is canon!" I answer "No, it's not.")

I believe that House is paid for a part-time schedule, and that's one of the reasons he can get away with goofing off so much -- because he's actually doing it on his own time. I also believe House reads medical journals and writes professional articles on his own time.

I believe that House double-majored in college, and one of those majors was music and the other one of the sciences. There should be some way to force TPTB to take notice of such fanonly-obvious things so that they can slip them into show bibles when there isn't a very good reason not to.

Actually it's the opposite, which is why I added that people may say it's canon but it's not. It's been mentioned in at least one producer's interview I know of, and I've heard that LE has said it in an interview too, so it appears that it's canon for TPTB. But it's never been said on the show, so it's not canon for viewers. Sometimes they seem fuzzy on what's made it onto the air and what hasn't, so they think we know things that we really don't. After discussing it with cindyloowho I realised it's not canon, so I hereby declare I believe House is still on AD's, and has been since Wilson dosed him. I believe both House and Wilson are attracted to one another sexually. I believe House is bi and Wilson is gay, and might be coming to terms with it nowadays *fingers crossed*
