I believe House had at least one serious relationship before Stacy.
Yes I believe that too and I believe it was with Wilson - his first love.
Hibernia- 10-21-2007
I believe that House's Dutch granny came from Amsterdam and that he's got his Yiddish from her.
Taiga- 10-21-2007
I'm an ignoramus, Hibernia, can you please explain the link between Amsterdam and Yiddish?
I believe that, like the actress who plays her, Cuddy is the descendant of Holocaust survivors.
Hibernia- 10-21-2007
Of course, Taiga: Amsterdam normal language, unlike The Queen's Dutch, has lots and lots of Yiddish words in common use like "goochem" (smart, wise), "pleite" (gone), "ponem" (face), "jat" (hand), "ramsj" (stuff for sale/cheap rubbish) and "toges" (butt) (and heaps more, I can go on for a while). House must have picked it up somewhere, and I thought his Dutch grandmother would be just as good a source as any other.

And that, of course, is because Amsterdam has for centuries had a large contingent of Jewish inhabitants.
It's completely possible... go Oma!

I believe that LLB is dead and Wilson knows it/witnessed it.
Tenna- 10-22-2007
I believe that LLB will, if the PTB remember him, someday be the POTW.
I also believe that Cuddy will never have children and that Wilson is infertile.
LightMyCandle- 10-22-2007
How did I just find this thread. *sucks*
Okay, I, along with others, believe that Wilson's "someone" in Spin is House and until canon, DS, or KJ tell me otherwise, I will continue to believe that, it makes the most sense.
I believe that something drastic will have to happen to get Wilson out of that hotel room.
I believe that sex between Wilson and Robin would have been so, unbelievably hot that they couldn't show it for fear of melting TVs everywhere.
I believe House wants Wilson to move back in with him and was really hurt when he moved out and then didn't come back.
I don't believe that Cameron was ever "in love" with either House or PDH. I do believe that she has/had feelings for both of them and cares/cared about both very deeply but I am not convinced that she was honestly in love with either of them.
I believe that Foreman sort of has a thing for Cameron.
I believe that Wilson was not present during the infarction. I believe he was on a honeymoon and had no idea any of it was happening until he got back, when it was over.
I believe that Wilson is in love with House but doesn't realize it. I believe that he has repressed a lot of feelings towards House, including his fear of losing him. I don't believe he's ever properly dealt with that fear.

I believe the super six rate the following on the Kinsey Scale:
House - 2 to 4, depending on Vicodin taken.
Wilson - 3 (varies depending on House's Vicodin intake)
Cuddy - 2
Cameron - 0
Chase - 1
Foreman - 1
Hail the Random- 10-22-2007
Er..what's a Kinsey scale?

Er..what's a Kinsey scale?
Yeah, that's what I thought too! LOL

I believe House had at least one serious relationship before Stacy.
I believe House had girls falling all over him from the time his voice changed (possibly before). Da man is HOT!!!! ::fans self::
I believe he was madly in love with someone in high school but it fell apart when his dad was transferred; they wrote for a while, but you know how those long-distance things work (or don't). Then she found someone new. I believe he had a succession of girlfriends in college but was afraid of commitment (common among guys in the '70s -- trust me on this). And that his one-night stand with Cuddy was a rebound response to another promising relationship that went south.
I believe that deep down, House is a romantic. After all, the definition of a cynic is a romantic who's gotten his heart broken. Hence the "cheesy, lame" gestures like a corsage for Cameron and a heart prescription for Stacy.

For any thread-followers interested, I have started The Secret Diary of James Wilson Aged... But I can already tell its going to be complicated & long in gestation, so don't hold your breath. (And not to stop anyone else having a go at the same thing, either). I believe that Wilson was not present during the infarction. I believe he was on a honeymoon and had no idea any of it was happening until he got back, when it was over.
I *don't* believe Wilson was on honeymoon because the infarction (5 years before s1) would have been too recent for wife #1 or Bonnie and...
I believe Wilson married Julie no more than a year or so before s1.
But I do believe Wilson was away *somewhere* during the infarction and arrived back too late to do anything.
Jouse- 10-23-2007
Hmm, in this case I'll revise my canon. Wilson was away during the infarction, though not on a honeymoon. But I still believe that wherever he was, it was with a girlfriend/fiance/wife.
And I believe he still feels horribly guilty about it.
reven- 10-23-2007
Jouse, I agree with you. I believe Wilson was away during the infarction and still feels guilty about it.
I believe Wilson's LLB is older than him and addicted to drugs.
I believe House really did want Wilson to stay living with him.
I believe House wanted to keep Hector.
I believe House was completely serious about the ILU.
I believe that the new guitar that House opens at the end of the one episode(I really can't remember which it is) was bought by Wilson for House.
